I can love someone despite their bad character, but I also have no problem reproaching them as an act of love, because I care about their character. I would feel anguish if I caused someone to feel bad about themselves. That's no one's right to do. Is that what you mean?

I can be in a relationship with someone with a different personality than mines and not be bothered by their lifestyles because I'm aware they are simply doing what's in their nature and know nothing they do is meant to be taken personal. Instead of judging them i prefer to show compassion because their behaviors are just destroying them slowly

Connect the dots: High Ability to make the synthesis of many phenomenons in society to get the meaning of things others can not observe or notice. 4. I’m in my 60’s and finally understanding myself. Growing up in the 50’s during the “personality” era when extroversion was worshiped, and introversion/ sensitivity was ridiculed and almost feared as a sure sign a child was doomed to failure in life, my empathic traits, were not valued or understood. They were seen as a liability. 15 years ago I found Elaine Aron’s wonderful book on highly sensitive people that turned my world around. Now with the emergence of information on empaths, I am starting to see real value in what have always been considered my “weaknesses”. Truly a very liberating awareness. I especially like this video as it answers several important questions for me. My puzzle pieces are slowly starting to come together. Thank you!!

Empaths are born this way. We don’t decide to develop it. As we age, our abilities strengthen. We want to help others. We want to heal others. It’s not just emotions we pick up, I literally pick up people’s physical ‘traits.’ I have medical issues that weren’t mine. I picked them up unknowingly trying to heal someone else. Luckily it’s typically from loved ones and people I get close to. Many of us keep a small circle of friends. You can’t lie to an Empath, we are human lie detectors. Many of us, (myself included) are highly Intuitive, can see spirits, can communicate with those who have crossed over, can communicate with animals. We are loving beings. Sadly, we tend to attract Narcissists. They know we will do all that we can to help them. (They want someone they can control). We live and learn every day of our lives. A person can develop empathy, however Empaths are BORN Empaths. I believe we are older souls. I could go on and on but there are plenty of KZbin videos you can watch and books on Empaths as well. Wishing everyone peace and blessings.

I feel energy of a room immediately at the entrance and my face changes to hide my awareness of the energy in the room so people won’t notice or get confused, especially if the energy is negative I quickly get into hiding my emotions. But, the sad part is if the energy was regarding me and some people still try to express emotion through their physical body as I settle in and I show my emotions as if I have not noticed any thing at all, people will think I am dumb not understanding what was going on. As if now, this will change to benefit me and other at the same time, that I come to understand; I am an empath. It is a great gift from the most High to serve people. Thank you

I’m a highly sensitive person, but toughened up due to being ignored, devalued, & without affection growing up. People laughed at me even when the teachers mispronounced my German last name. In 6th grade I started facing my bullies with my niceness and found them quite uninteresting. Poor things. Unfortunately, I am still overwhelmed by compound energies in a room. I have one of those piercing resting faces, terrifying, I’m sure. Yes, I can see into your psyche and it is not pretty. Lol. Those who know me love me. I still have my 3 best friends from high school, over 50 years ago. My daughter asked her Dad once “ how does Mom know certain things?” I could hear them from the next room. I just wanna stop crying when people I hate cry, I want to be able to watch a damn video of someone eating spicy without my nose running, I want to be able to hear a story about a friend getting hurt without feeling empathetic pain run up my back. DDJ that's an interesting line of thought. What have you noticed? Definitely, something I want to look more into.
@DJLauraTouray5 жыл бұрын
Kirk Duncan - 3 Key Elements I have noticed that we (Aspies) tend to automatically be more open, gullible and trusting and taking people at face value. I also notice that we tend to push away our gut instincts (which are usually VERY Empathic and spot on!) and go on to convince ourselves that we can ‘fix people’ and please people (even if they are toxic) to make them like us (probably because we know we have never really fitted in or been truly accepted in the world.) It is actually quite heartbreaking to even write this I must say. I can not cope if I am around someone who has a problem with me when I know I have done nothing to that person. This seems to be attached to a permanent low self esteem and that feeling of never being good enough. But I believe that when I was a child, my parents honestly didn’t know how to deal with me! I also believe 100% they are also both ASD & don’t know it. It is a very deep rabbit hole. Let me know if you want to talk more about it with me. I sometimes believe that if I could empty the contents of my mind and make sense of it then I could change the world! I know so much depth about things but can’t always explain it well. I definitely feel that I have a lot to offer to people doing research. FYI - I was only diagnosed last August with ADHD & last September with ASD x

You can do your best to understand people’s emotions. However, Empaths FEEL others emotions as if they are our own. I also feel people physically. It’s certainly not all positive. Becouse it's in light nature to shine. So let us shine without shame. ( MY ENGLISH IS BAD but Your UNDERSTANDING IS GREAT ❤😉)

yeah, I'm so happy he will say this loud, what I feel! Ich feel feelings like some kind of water or air. They are cold or hot or lovely or pushy, my body reacts on them all the time. Of myself or of others, it is all here, and it sometimes messes with my thoughts. Cause the weird thing is, feeling the feelings, I know what I or others are thinking right away. And that's why I want to stay away from being too close to most of the people. They project their feelings all the time on others and blame them for "making them feel this way"...

Most people aren't comfortable with that level of connection with another person. I believe this is the reason people mislabel empaths as clingy. I mean, we can be, but I think more often than not, people aren't comfortable with that kind of closeness. They just know they want more space.

I was shamed most of my life for being an empath. I was called abnormal over and over ☺ I do understand that it was coming from fear. Those who hated my empathetic abilities were too threatened by what I was receiving from them.

Pondering myself as an empath, I see where the personality disorder question comes alight. Were our brains wired to react to situations when we were children to recognize different personalities as a form of self protection? As an early form of anxiety and fear that manifested to empath?

If being purposeful, principled and caring towards others is a disorder because I can feel other's emotions, then I'm glad I'm crazy and enjoy it. Since admitting to myself that I have abilities, I've learned to admit when someone's a spiritual vampire also. Lessons learned the hard way, of course.

Are you making more of this than what it is? If you want to connect better, be vulnerable. I think the family unit has something to do with it, if you were raised with love, acceptance and you saw this in your parents and how they treated others. I don't know many that went through school that didn't get bombed about something. I wore multicolored striped stockings and thought i was cool and kids laughed-pippi longstocking. Never wore them again. Today i can laugh about it. I enjoy your channel immensely-i think beause you're down to earth, have expierenced some of these things and bring a little humor to it. Thank you.

I am an empath and have 2 of my 3 empaths children and 2 grandchildren ( from a non biological child) all very old souls, especially my granddon... while watching this video I linked a few more peices of the puzzle of society atm... there are a lot of empaths being born... and we need to make sure they are being raised in a supporting and encouraging way.... WE NEED the next generstion... the ones that are about 5 and younger... that generation is humanities hope....

It seems like I've always had someone to take care of in my life & now that my son has grown up & my mother has passed away...I don't have anyone to take care of & don't know what to do with myself... I've noticed that I won't do for myself as much as I'll do for others & I've been neglecting myself ..... any advice?

What’s the connection between being an empath and having ADHD? What is the difference between them?

Hello everyone, bright lights of this dsrk world!✨☯️ Am barely new here. I just found out that all those weird feelings is energy from someone else. No wonder I felt tired most of the time. I didn't even know why. Teacher I have a question regarding the presentation class. I live in Mexico cause I was deported from USA. Six years ago. And I wouldn't have the way to go with you. Also my problem right now is survival. Cause I have no money because of the narcissist that drain me out completely 😞 thanks to our creador now I'm healing. But still don't have all my energy that I had. Thats way is hard for me to work all day. Maybe u can help me a bit of info so I can start learning and searching more about me and all the great things are happening right now.
