Please I request people of my country to be in limits.. In winters you can take 2-3 cups of tea or coffee and in summer 1-2 cups, and also in summer in evening snack u can take green tea, but be in limits don't go in extremes, everything has its own importance but be in limits..

In South India, world’s one of the most qualitative coffee plantations has been existing for a long time, although I don’t know for how long 😄 but geographically speaking it must have always been there. It's because someone's body system is reacting that way it doesn't mean tea or coffee is harmful.its the problem of particular body system. Even it's helpful in many physical activities as our cortisol levels are already higher in the morning so coffee or tea doesn't increase cortisol higher than normal limits. Our ancestors are enjoying them from decades and living happily..

Before tea and coffee came to India from western countries we Indians consume 'kashaya' herbal tea (called green tea now a days) from thousands of years back to now which is prescribed by Ayurveda itself. Then people adopt to tea and coffee there is no mentioning or prohibited against tea or coffee but ayuveda support intake green tea & its various preparations also mention according to patient body constitution and his condition & according to diseases

I have IBS and have started ayurveda with a renowned ayurvedic doctor, I asked her regarding coffee she told me I can take it but up to a limit so yes in ayurveda no where it's written you can't have coffee or tea.

Black coffee is too overpowered, however I advice everyone to not consume it at least 6-8 hours before going to bed. My coffee addiction led to a completely messed up sleep cycle so I had to reduce the amount of coffee I consumed and I only consume 4-5g of coffee per day now.

There's not much difference in both. It's just different in protein structure of one from another in one amino acid, which doesn't make significant difference in nutrition. It's just a marketing gimmick to sale on kind of milk.

I will not disagree with Akshay Sir's words but since I have worked on myself regards to tea and coffee I would like to add some important points as per my opinion: 1. Previously I used to have chai as first thing in the morning but then I stopped having it first thing in the morning. I really benefited from it. Like ease in digestion, no need of that caffeine boost early morning. I wake up fresh and energised. 2. I do have black coffee/ milk chai around 11 am to have that caffeine boost to beat afternoon tiredness. 3. People tend to be more lethargic coz lack of protein in their diet. If enough protein is added its ok to stick to 2-3 cups of coffee/ tea 4. Ayurveda speaks about vata, pitta, kapha dosha. Ayurveda says cure your imbalanced doshas and then have things in moderation. 5. People will take your words in the way now I can have my coffee and tea and sit with their sedentary lifestyle. They dont understand sedentary lifestyle is more harmful than these tea and coffee. 6. Dont have tea/ coffee before bed it will really impair with your sleep cycle. Sound sleep is important so control your caffeine intake not control on tea/ coffee.

But Ayurveda caffeine ke bare me batata h ki agr apko pitta dosha h to aap caffeine kisi halat m nahi le sakte na jada na kam. Kynki vo hormones ko imbalance karta h. Again m uske benefits ko nahi avoind kr raha hu, par kya o benefits hormes imbalance se badke h? I also consume a cup of tea everyday or sometimes 2 and I know mera uss'se pita hit hota h, but m use balance karne ke liye apni diet m curd bhi use karta hu. Or rahi baat modern science ki to sir aapko ye bhi thoda pata hona chahiye that Vedo se hi sab seekhe h or vahi se sab knowledge aayi h. Bas patent apne naam par kara liye h.
