I think the difference in MSRP is worth the price but the mark ups are insane. 60k to 80k

I totally forgot when you compare MSRP vs MSRP it’s only 5k more. Lighter wheel and tire package makes the gap even less. There’s a lot of collectors out there willing to pay 70+ for the car and keep it garaged

@@AfoothatsfireLike what we talked about before, there are people out there not willing to do the leg work to get the best price which drives up the price even more. I really would like to see Honda take a note from Chevy and penalize these dealerships from insane markups by terminating their allocations.

Suspension damper was retuned and steering was retuned. I think if you compared the LE to the regular R around the circuit track, it will beat the regular R.

If you use it on a circuit , yes of course! but just city and long drive? no.

The LE looks good. I’ve always liked Phoenix Yellow. The wheels are a lot lighter. The OEM carbon is a nice touch. That stuff is expensive. It also looks like the dealer hit him with some mandatory sales options, because he has pretty much everything. And no one wants to pay the $1,500 for the carbon mirror caps. Great car, I looked for one before I bought my M4, but then I talked myself into getting something else. Also, don’t short yourself. Check the window sticker. All US Type Rs are the Touring model. We have no base models. You gotta represent! 🤣🙌

@@Afoothatsfire it wasn’t a dig, against you. It’s more like, that what the dealers are doing to people, a lot of times. They will sell you the car for a good deal, but make you buy $5k in accessories. The regular Type Rs have been like that for years. I’m glad you didn’t get forced to buy everything. That’s just been the dealers shady way of doing business. Prices are stupid, these days. Dealers always do shady things. I bought my Sonic Gray CTR, back in 2020, for $34,257, right off the truck. I was at the dealer, yesterday, getting my oil changed on my 21 SGP Accord Touring, they wanted $38k for a SGP 11th Gen Civic Si! $8,995 markup on an Si! I’m glad you didn’t get taken. Then LE is much harder to get. I looked for one, last year, and I couldn’t find one at a good deal. Then I saw a guy on Facebook, that bought 2, and I just gave up. I can’t even find one, this guy has 2.

Well they said touring but it feels basic because I don’t have sunroof, lane watch camera, auto dimming mirror, rain sensing wipers that the touring models come with. I get some of the items for weight savings but I was mostly aggravated about some type of blind spot monitor or lane watch and auto dimming mirror. I agree. I spoke with Rene and he mentioned the deal he got which was unusual for someone with a LE but he played his cards right and it worked out for him. Most people and dealers tried it with me, sell me the car without the markup but take the add ons that was placed on the car.

@@eddiemcars the auto dimming rear view, I think, is about all you’re going to get. Like you said, no sunroof for weight. I completely agree with the blind spot monitors. They could have at least done that. My 2019 didn’t even have the Honda Sensing equipment. So, the rear view mirror, was just a rod stuck to the glass, like a 1986 Ford Escort. The lane watch camera has been removed from all Hondas. I never got a chance to own a Honda with it. My 21 Accord Touring has literally everything, heated and cooled seats, heads up display, magnetic ride suspension, sunroof, and has no lane watch camera. Somewhere along the line, they just removed it from every model. My girlfriends 2019 Civic has lane watch, and it’s gone from the newer cars.

As an investment the LE wins hands down Performance? Its a wash - whether you get the LE or not youll spend that difference to upgrade a base R with forged wheels If you want a yellow R? Totally worth it lol LE should be a collectors car - its why I daily a boost blue R and not an LE

Yes, that’s correct. The LE has different programming for the adaptive suspension. Gearing is same the same though.

@@eddiemcarsI hear ya. But I’m with @L4t3xs on this. Yellow is a rare color. But the 2019 Electron Blue CTR should be considered a rare color as well. And most people like Electron Blue better. And it was one of the original B16 Si colors that help put Honda on the street racing scene market. 💪🏽💯
