I use mine for Gaming AND Video Editing I think Linus is VERY wrong and underinformed from the guy he gave it to to use for 2 months. That guy never wanted to really use it from the beginning so I just think it was an all around unfair review of the Azeron.

Yeah I totally agree. I like that Linus said it was not saying it wasn’t a good device but rather that it had some problems. But I think the general overview even though the words were positive and negative was a negative review

My frustration was just building by the minute when I watched that LTT video. The lack of actually trying to get to know how to use the azeron was astonishing. To almost everything they picked on I instantly thought of a fix/response to counter. -Adjustment takes a while and the knob above the joystick was in a uncomfortable position? Setup takes some time yes, but once you're done you're done. And it seems like you didn't use enough time on the adjustment if you feel like the knob is uncomfortable to reach. -It doesn't work well in games like Valorant and CS:GO because of the joystick? Don't use the joystick then? You can literally program every button on it. -It becomes bothersome making profiles for every game you play on the azeron? Then don't. Make like 3 profiles at most that you can cycle through depending on the type of game and rebind the keybinds in game to fit to the profile. -Difficulties remembering keybinds after some time of not using the azeron? Never really had that problem myself. But I also don't make a separate profile for every game I play because I actually used my brain when setting up my profiles so that they would function over multiple games. -Having to make separate profiles for different characters in dota 2? Seems like a flaw with the game design not having the option to make keybinds on a per character basis. Overwatch and Valorant lets you rebind keys per character if you want. I also can't see how this would be a problem on the azeron exclusively since you would have to do the same on keyboard as well then, no? -Constantly running into walls in RE2 because of the low sensitivity of the joystick or whatever? Simply make it more sensitive in the software so that it will respond more easily when you move it around. All of the things above are things I figured out within the first week, if not day of owning the classic before upgrading to the cyborg. It's far from a perfect product. I have several things I would have changed if I could on the hardware and software side. One being the orientation of the buttons of the "scorpion tail" buttons to face the other way so that I could use my knuckle instead of fingertip to hit it. And another being the adjustability of the joystick tower. They should have had at least a couple of more people actually testing the thing over an extended period of time, then they might have caught on that whoever they decided to put in charge as the sole reviewer was not in fact suitable to review it. They are a big channel and has a large influence on whether a lot of people will or will not buy a product and they really showed how half-assedly they do testing before reviewing a product it in this review if you ask me. I lost so much respect for LTT when it comes to tech reviewing after this one video.

I don’t play games on PC, but I do develop games on PC. The Azeron is by far the best choice for 3D Artists. You don’t have to travel distances like you would with the other gadgets of this kind

I agree Hector but it turns out that apparently a lot of developers don't actually play the games which explains why so many things are so screwed up when you actually try to to play the games. Start playing! It will improve your developing

I think it’s a super cool device that accomplished a real need in a complicated way. If you put the time in to learn and develop muscle memory it’s a great device. If you give up easily then skip it.

@@TabletPro I am very interested in the review. Totally understand that this might be a more niche thing. That being said could you give a run down of your comparison thoughts between the Azeron and the TourBox? I want to get one of them and am debating if the scroll wheels of the Tourbox would be more helpful. That being said while I primarily want to use it for drawing I would also like to use the Azeron for gaming if I do go with that option.

Linus is a shill and he didnt actually review the cyborg, he only presented the "findings" from a mediocre (at best) gamer who played it on 3 crappy games that didnt really make much use of it.

As a lefty, gaming has always been controller or nothing so the azeron has really piqued my interest. Maybe one day I'll pony up for one 🙂

I'm a lefty pc gamer and it is totally possible to use mouse keyboard. I have an evoluent vertical left handed mouse and I use P L : " as my W A S D movement keys. I still use spacebar to jump. Right shift is sprint, etc. My weapon keys are = - 0987 instead of 12345. I use the keyboard exactly the same way as a right handed player, just a mirrored image. I actually use a program that rebinds my keys on the keyboard to whatever I want. So when I press P to move forward, my computer recognizes that I am pressing W for example. This is a nightmare for typing so I actually pulled off my keys and swapped them all around so my keyboard looks weird. But I'm used to it now and I LOVE IT! You can do it too. You have options.

I am a lefty too but i have always used keyboard and mouse like i am right handed. My aim is great in games so I think it is only a matter of getting used to it and I also actually think it is good since we use our left for everything else, we get to relieve a lot of potential strain by not using dominant hand for the mouse

I was disappointed Linus a tech savvy guy would complain about the need to set up a few custom keybinds for each game ... LOL. I've been using a G13 for decades and make a new profile for every game its not a big deal ... and in fact one of the strengths of PC gaming ... the freedom to game your way

I kind of lost a little respect for Linus over that video. They clearly put no effort into giving it a solid review. It's certainly not for everyone. Personally, as someone with big hands & nerve damage in them, that make using a regular keyboard a challenge, I can't wait to to come up with the extra cash so I can get my hands on one of these to try it out. I think it will help me & be a good middle ground between using a controller & using KBM. And if it doesn't work out, used prices on them are nearly as high as new, so it won't be an extreme loss if it doesn't work for me.

Sorry but I'll take Linus' word for it. He is very rarely wrong. And the Azeron looks overly complicated and fragile. And for the price = not. a. chance.

I watched the Linus video, and that was basically a hack job. I was like wtf is he talking about? He said several straight up incorrect statements like there's no WASD. Really? You can literally map WASD on all the keys at once. And he said they spent a whopping 30 minutes setting it up, which is hilarious because it took me nearly 2 hours to get it dialed in perfect. There was a lot of complaining about the key mapping, because apparently you can do too much? I've been using it for a week now, and it's absolutely amazing. Sure, there is room for improvement, but this is the cutting edge of gaming peripheral tech. No question. If you can't turn a screwdriver or have zero patience in taking your time setting things up correctly, then yeah. This definitely isn't for you. I've always liked Linus' videos, but this one made me question his opinion and motives a lot. Like a whole lot. You can't get much more wrong about the Azeron than he did, and I 100% would not be surprised if he eventually puts out a video saying he was wrong.

LInus and his crew are very clearly not gamers. Their complaints about the joypad are moot when you can literally bind WASD to the same fingers you already use on a keyboard while still having access to everything else you want without reaching.
