Good Morning. Try and park where you ate not too secluded for your safety but still out of the line of sight of what you refer to as NIMBY's. Also, skip around- don't sleep in areas for multiple nights. Get in for the night early and move on early. Less chance of being noticed and having to deal with problems. Be safe.

Hi Natasha, I enjoyed the vlog, but not that some people are so narrow minded and would report you. Comes down to labels again, and if you're not living in a conventional home, there must be something wrong with you ( I don't mean you, I mean everyone) I moved onto a boat in 2008 after my alcoholic partner messed things up with the house, tax etc. Stupid thing is we got a boat with 2 bedrooms lol so yeah that's how bad it was, and to cut a long story short I'm on my own now in a smaller boat, but when I first started life on a boat I was in for a big shock. Most of the mooring spots are in villages, or near houses, and unless you have a permanent mooring ( which are too expensive, and hard to find) you have to continual cruise moving every 2 weeks, or 3 weeks in my case because of my disabilities I've had adjustments made, so I don't have to go through locks which I can't do cause of my bad health. In some places villagers make it known to boaters that you're not welcome, and not in very pleasant ways. A couple of people who live in the Village Of The Dammned I call it, gave boaters a lot of grief, breaking car windows, mirrors and putting dog poo on your car and boat, and taking your boat number and reporting you if don't move exactly when 2 weeks is up, and 1 unpleasant villager used to urinate all over boaters cars, vans etc and 1 night he did it to mine and my ex partner saw him do it, but said nothing to him. So I went out took a sample of his pee and called the cops, they came out and had a word with him and he never did it again. That's all it took to stop him, but no one before me bothered to report him. Before that incident he went to court to get the boats stopped from mooring in the village, and the judge laughed it out of court, but also asked him why he didn't like the boats mooring there, and he said that it was because the boats aren't in keeping with the village. Crazy man. Why can't people just live and let live. 😒

In the same way that some bad apples have largely led people to not trust the police, a few bad apples living in their cars have been dealing drugs, leaving trash behind, involved in property crimes, etc. These ordinances are for EVERYONE'S safety, not just the Nimbys.

I haven't don evan life in months. 99% of cities do not allow vanlife because of all the trash and being pigs. But you can safely park in commercial areas as they would never know you are in the van. Most cops wont bug you unless there are complaints. Its best to be in the back country and only be in cities when needed. But keep up the good work on the videos.

That place in the woods was creepy and scary in the day time let alone sleeping there. With bears and cougars cooking there was a risk. I can't help but worry about your safety. You showed your full license plate number when you attached the new plates. That's a big NoNo. You may have your parking spots but now some slime ball knows how to find you. This is my 3rd video of yours and I'm thinking you are just not meant for van life at all. I don't mean to be harsh but you seem to struggle and pair that with financial hardship it's just hard.
