You can use powershell for the outlook delegate status as well. Takes more up front prep if your 365 tenant is using modern authentication and 2FA, most people are now, but it allows you to make that change without going to the users outlook and allows you to make more large scale changes for example if the calendar needs to be made accessible for everyone in the company.

What's up Bro? I noticed you had a video about the Department of Education. I live in DC and I'm trying to get an IT job. Do you have any suggestions?
@KevtechITSupport2 жыл бұрын
I live in NY not the DC area. Most places will ask for a cert. Fix the resume and work on your LinkedIn profile.

Hi Kevin i was in Service Desk Analyst Job, but now i have got IT Assistant job i will be working in Office after a week where as service desk analyst i was working from Home. So my question is IT Assistant is better than Help Desk job?
@KevtechITSupport2 жыл бұрын
Job titles don't mean anything in tech. I go based on the job description. You can be called helpdesk and not touch anything on active directory.

Hey man. I am currently in a college and started Network Administrator Associates Degree program. The program takes about 2 years. At the end of the program i get A+ and Network+ certifications. After completing the Associates degree program, will it qualify me for Help Desk and Customer Support specialist jobs?
@KevtechITSupport3 жыл бұрын
Yep, should be good. Make sure you learn the back end stuff like active directory.

but local users and groups manages local accounts only, in an environment you're describing it would be active directory environment tho
@KevtechITSupport3 жыл бұрын
some companies have local accounts enable so you would add the person to local admin group. it really depends on the company, some use active directory. In your case, your being specific to active directory, some places use local accounts. I guess I can be more specific in the video but for this one, it's local admin.
@xFlow7773 жыл бұрын
@@KevtechITSupporti see, i didn't know that, though every business avoids using local accounts because they are harder to manage.
@KevtechITSupport3 жыл бұрын
@@xFlow777 some companies use the same name for the local account by default and login with that account in case it falls off the domain. Yep, it depends on the company. One of my jobs, they would make a local account for every laptop manually.

Hey Kev, is this the daily experience of a newly certified network + or security + holder?
@KevtechITSupport3 жыл бұрын
Not sue what you mean by that. This is something different from certifications.

@@KevtechITSupport I’m asking if helpdesk is usually the first step after being certified newly especially without IT experience
@KevtechITSupport3 жыл бұрын
Network+ and security+ don't really relate to helpdesk just fyi. It's good to have but that's not helpdesk. Helpdesk is the first job you have in IT which people usually go with a+ not network+. Network+ is more for networking.
@247OnlineGuy3 жыл бұрын
@@KevtechITSupport okay thanks, what if you skip help desk and go the Network or Security route? Without experience of course, are there still jobs willing to give a chance?
@KevtechITSupport3 жыл бұрын
Not really, that's very rare. You need job experience for network admin.
