Can I just say having now made your recipe, that this cake is right up there with Isa Chandra's vanilla cake and hers has been my go to recipe since I've been vegan, about five years. I have made this cake several times, either as cake or cupcake or base for your tiramisu. This measurement works perfectly for us. All ingredients are easily found in most kitchens; no special cake flour needed and no special equipment needed to mix. This has become our go to recipe for basic vanilla cake. Thank you!

I just had to let you know that this cake is delicious, moist, and has a texture like a cake made with eggs and milk. I am so impressed, so thank you! I thought eating as a vegan I would never be able to find a cake that had the texture I was used to before going plant based-this is it!!!!! I did change one thing, and it was using white distilled vinegar instead of the lemon juice or apple cider vinegar because that is what I had on hand. Once again thank you soooooooo much!

I baked this for my birthday!! It was so good! My brother, who is very critical of my baking, went in for seconds! I made a few changes though... Only because my fam is asian and western cakes are too sweet for them... I only added 1 cup of sugar and instead of 1 1/2 cup of milk I added 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup whipped aquafaba. And for the Icing I used a flour paste/butter cream recipe
