I wish I had a friend like Amir. Sure, he's quirky and completely unaware of social rules, he pulls off completely ridiculous stunts that occasionally defy the laws of physics and when you talk about him to your other friends nobody believes you... but you feel so much more grounded just looking at him go and you know when it'll be your turn to do something stupid he will have your back. Discreet product placements are fine because they're what keeps things like this possible. However, it's not fine when the Jake and Amir series (which I have been a major fan of since the beginning) becomes less and less funny because the content is completely based on and around a product they're advertizing. I would rather see funny skits than entire commercials. Just my opinion though.

1. Read the description 2. Collegehumor isn't doing so well so any advertisements they can show while being funny is both helpful to them and the adverts. Jake and Amir are still funny while doing minor product placements like Spotify, Sonos, Bose, and Schick Hydro. These adverts help them get money. 3. These videos are free but cost money to make, them making money by saying a product twice isn't so bad now is it?
