I used to watch the series back in the day where you were helping that kid build muscle. I always enjoyed that and it ended. Would love to see a series like that again.

Good info here homes. Definitely appreciating the home-gym equipment workout series. This helps with owning a basic to moderate home gym with basic equipment.

How about the Undersun Grage press? That is a great exercise, even the core is involved in it.

First time in my life I tried those Scott Presses. I wanted to go really light. I have only one 10 lb. dumbbell, so I did it one arm at a time. I noticed that doing it single armed allowed me to go a little further than if I were to use two dumbbells. I wonder if this is a plus?

Going further with the ROM starts to activate the trapezius more.

Sad to see someone go at a relatively young age. Unfortunately I've seen way too many bodybuilders go too young - and most are from heart related issues.

FYI, apparently, the Scott Press was invented by Vince Gironda for Larry Scott. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnzNnYewa7KVgbM

@@FM-gv7sb 💪I’ll have to look it up in some of the old training manuals I have from Vince but I had a conversation with Frank Zane about Vince and I didn’t get the feeling that Vince was quite the guru everyone made him out to be. Hard to say. It’s possible he really was the pioneer or maybe he was just the guy that was smart enough to document all the training techniques from some of the top guys that were coming to his gym

@@JamesGrage It's probably the second one if I had to guess. When I was young I was inventing things on my own too. I was young so it was hard to hurt myself working out in my attic in 100 plus degree temps in the summer and freezing temps in the winter. I actually used to work out with a winter coat on, LOL I was using a Weider Bench my dad got me from Sears and old cement plastic covered weights. I mention that because I think Joe Weider was the same. He called everything Weider principle this and Weider that.
