In 1981, I was living in Santa Barbara and my good friend was a chef at a restaurant in the area. He calls me one night and says, "Get your butt over here right away. Joe Cocker is singing in the bar!" He lived in Santa Barbara at time and apparently, he knew the guys in the band that night and he just came to jam with them. I was able to watch him sing a couple songs before he left. He was amazing and his energy was off the charts, even in a smallish bar.

I just lost my 21-year-old old cat,Miss Josephine ,and let me tell you, when I played Joe Cockers music, she went nuts. That cat loved JC. RIP to them both. Cats have class. And he was a class act,who was also a classy cat 🤣.

I love him so much. His voice is like no other- he’s got so much soul in him. The horns and backup singers are epic. You rarely see/hear horns in today’s music. I was 🤣🤣🤣 at your Ron Jeremy comment!
