There is not a higher concentration of craftsmen in the world as it does exist in Japan with high levels of integrity. My humble opinion.

After watching this video for a secound time I visited the store and ordered one of his kniifes. iIt is a petit knife and for my own personal use, I am very impress but the quality and how it looks. Using the knife is very comfortable in hand and extremely sharp. I will be ordering the next size up in a few weeks.

Impressive. Some techniques are reminiscent of katana smithing such as the folded iron and charcoal hardening, while glass peening is used on the connecting rods in race car engines.

I also do my best work alone. Built a les Paul replica guitar having never done it before. it was a test of patience. Truth is Anyone can do this It is mindset and action brought forth from the mind wich is extremely potent.

OSHA would have a heart attack walking thru his shop. Working red hot steel on a hammer with no eye protection is dumb. Burns his foot because tennies. No leather apron. Where he does an upper body twist n lean and uses a small sledge on blades is not good for long term health. And torches next to a paper products storage.
