Hello Nakamura-San and your wonderful family and colleagues. I just received your fabulous straight back Bunka knife in a beautiful package that also contained a wet stone for sharpening the knife in the traditional and best way. It looks exactly what it is: crafted by hand with skill and respect for the art! Arigato gozaimasu ! 🙏 I bow to your craftsmanship and will be back for new purchases. Most of all, I am thrilled for the personal connection with people so far away. My thanks to the platform of JAPANESE FOOD CRAFTSMAN which made this connection (and community) possible. Greetings to the people of Fukuoka from Bowling Green, OH, USA.😊

A guy on YT once said that the first thing your average Japanese consumer does with a new knife is take it home and sharpen it. In this video, the guy's wife apparently is the sharpener.

Every knife in that house is probably a good steel and razor sharp at all times.

Very reasonably priced for a hand made knife forged from Hitachi Aogami
I will be in the Niigata, Nagano and Gunma regions in August. Do you know of any addresses of traditional blacksmiths in these regions? I would like to purchase a knife for my Japanese knife collection. Thank you very much.
