He is Republic Records studio director and seemingly Angelina's personal pianist on all her recordings at Republic. He mentioned her work during her Christmas Concert. My guess, it will be released after the school year ends....I hope.

Baby Fuzz has publically stated that 1) there was never any contact made by Angelina’s team with regards to the lyrics, 2) the lyrics do not refer to suicide, but are metaphorical, and 3) he is happy for Angelina’s version to be out there. I lean towards the opinion that the family realised this would have been a massive hit, which they did not want for her at such a young age. They have been very consistent in protecting her childhood and prioritising her education. She is currently sitting exams, which is why her media accounts have been pretty quiet lately. She has a FAB family! I think you’re getting why she has such a massive, loving fan base; great reaction, you two!

I agree. In addition, I remember seeing a comment on a fan group on Facebook from a super fan of hers. When attending one of her concerts he asked AJs mother about this song, and she confirmed the suicide story. However, I still believe more that they did not want a no 1 hit so early.

Her uncle has been her manager. She travels surrounded by family. First, Angelina is self directed. Always has been. When she signed with Republic Records she maintained control over her music. She released original songs when she was twelve. She sang “Shield” on Skavlan, a Swedish talk show. There are two videos. One of the talk part and another of the performance. By the way, Angelina started with jazz, blues, expanding from there to her own songs and going through to contemporary pop. She alters everything she sings. She will never fit in one genre. Give up trying to force it. Queen gifted her the version of Bohemian Rhapsody she sang on AGT Champions.

I am a 73 yr. old Vietnam veteran and was cruising thru KZbin, the news and the blues and happened upon "Got Talent" and they were bringing out this girl who said she was going to sing a song so I decided to take a listen before moving on. She said her name was Angelina Jordan, 13 year old from Norway. Oh well. As soon as she started I felt a body rush and pouring of emotions that I had taken 40 years to shut down. I listened to it 3 more times weeping heavily. I have spent the last 3 days and nights on my computer finding all about AJ, her songs, her early days, the book she wrote at age 6, why she goes barefoot when performing , a number of shows like yours as well as acting and singing coaches. There wasn't a dry eye or criticism only gleeful hyperventilating as I become when I see her preforming. My seeing her was a bolt to my heart from above. I have found my emotions and feelings and looking forward to tomorrow. Instead of marking my days. Best wishes to you guys. May the spirits of AJ be with you. One more thing. There’s something else important to note about this young lady. Clearly , she is a genuine phenom. A true prodigy. And Michael Jackson at ten years old was already on the billboard charts at 10 yrs old... but what he wasn’t doing was putting out music with maturity. MJ was pumping out bubblegum R&B. , target audience being kids to teens. AJ on the other hand is a Soul, Blues and Jazz singer doing covers of some of the greats from Billie Holliday, Whitney and Adele. But her original music is downright beyond her years. Cinematic in their production value. She is not of this world. But I’m sure glad she’s here now. She has the talent to change the world with her music and her voice. Far more than MJ ever did. The power of the Beatles in her hands right now.

Experts agree, that “I’m Still Holding Out For You” is an Angelina Original❗️An original, is any song which was not recorded by any artist before, it may be composed by the person singing it, or by someone else. Baby FuzZ and a three others wrote this song. Thus, he did the “Cover” that Angelina had already recorded in 2016, at 10, and published prior. Uploaded Nov. 11, 2018, Demo or not! Sorry, his offical video, published 12/9/18, (two years later) was met with very little fanfare. He has since, given her Copyright and his blessing to make a proper recording of the song. 🌺🌺

Baby Fuzz actively shopped this song to OTHER vocalists. I don't think he ever intended to release it himself. Angelina's demo wasn't released by Angelina, I believe it was released by the producers who also worked with Baby Fuzz. Her rendition is a masterpiece, which undoubtedly have brought a huge amount of attention down on then ten year old Angelina. Maybe that's precisely why it was never released. Maybe her family didn't want Angelina to completely give up her childhood. She was already to some degree, living in a bubble, requiring escorts at performances and some degree of protection everywhere. I can't even imagine trying to parent a child prodigy who appears to be on a path of becoming one of the greatest musical artists of all time while knowing every choice you make for her carries huge ramifications.

Baby FuzZ is Brandon Lowry and is also known by stage name Sterling Fox. He has written and produced songs for others including Lana Del Ray, Britney Spears, Avicii, Adam Lambert and Madonna. Angelina’s people did not allow release of song because they thought it to be wrong stylistic choice for her. Angelina’s people fearing copyright infringement issues blocked release of “leaked” version of song several years later. Baby FuzZ had never heard her demo until 2018 and really liked it and allowed it to stay up on KZbin. Back story about song itself is published on Internet if dig around. Many people describe song differently than Baby FuzZ does. ---- Baby FuzZ says: The bulk of “I’m Still Holding Out For You” was done at a songwriting camp in Oslo, Norway. I wrote the song with some super talented cowriters Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen. I was there for the world class by:Larm music festival in 2016. Mostly I was just writing for other artists, and unfortunately found myself writing some tunes that fell a bit short. By the end of the week, I was growing frustrated with my effort, but luckily the frustration kind of bubbled up and resulted in this song on the last day of writing. During an off day, I was able to go to the Oslo Viking Ship Museum. It houses an amazing set of original fully assembled Viking boats from 900 AD. They have these kind of Nightmare Before Christmas looking adornments on the bows that are incredible. I was really inspired by the beauty and the curves on these boats. I honestly believe the ships inspired some of the writing on “I’m Still Holding Out For You”. The song is simple and stark, yet has a few ornate, artistic moments that remind me of those ships. There has been no public announcement that I know about, but one can speculate given certain facts. Great song by Angelina is Shield that she co-wrote. And whom did Angelina co-write Shield with? No other than Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen and Frida Amundsen! Hmmm. Shield was self-released when Angelina was 12-years old, or in 2018, roughly in same timeframe that Baby FuzZ released his version of I'm Still Holding Out For You. Remember that Baby FuzZ did not hear Angelina's version of song until 2018. Angelina is from Oslo, as is three Norwegian songwriters/producers. They had to have met somewhere for Shield to be written and produced. At minimum, one meeting had to have occurred when Angelina did I'm Still Holding Out For You demo, probably also at Ronny Janssen's recording studio in Oslo. So, it is likely that Ronny Janssen had master recording of Angelina's demo. On top of this, Ronny Janssen is listed with Production credit for three versions of I'm Still Holding Out For You by Baby FuzZ in 2018 and 2019. Ergo, it probably was Ronny Janssen who played Angelina's 2016 (possibly done in January 2017) demo version to Baby FuzZ in 2018. Baby FuzZ was said to like it, and he, Ronny Janssen, and two other songwriters/producers, all said it was OK to "leak" demo onto KZbin. Angelina's people must have been contacted to let them know of "leak" and obviously must have also said OK to "leak". In meantime, Shield was also self-released with big splash on Scandinavian talk show Skavlan that usually had 2.5 to 3 million viewers per show (see interview for Shield where it turns to English at 36-second mark (kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2jLm4qdabmiiLM) and Angelina's performance on Skavlan show after interview (kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooLXhpWMgMdjrNU). One could presume that all parties may have hoped that Shield would hit and then Angelina had immediate follow-up song in I'm Still Holding Out For You. For whatever reasons, this never happened and we are still waiting for Angelina to have that big hit song. One could argue that this turned out to be blessing for Angelina as she was allowed to grow-up without major public spotlights and continue to mature as artist rather than be under crush of constant adulation as an adolescent. ---- As side note, at this same time of 2016 to 2018, Angelina was also introduced to disk jockeys Avicii (Swedish) and Alan Walker (Norwegian - at over over 11.5 billion views and a daily average of almost 3 million views, he is number one Norwegian artist on KZbin), two music stars with worldwide followings. As Angelina fans know, she was invited at 10 years old to sing Alan Walker’s smash hit Faded (3.2 billion views), and sing hit Sing Me To Sleep (666 million views), on Alan's Heading Home worldwide live streaming event that he held in Bergen, Norway on December 22, 2016 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZbMYYGercRpqNk). And in 2016, Avicii chose Angelina for vocals on his worldwide Volvo commercial campaign, with Angelina’s brilliant cover of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good. Avicii tragically died on April 20, 2018. Angelina later sung in 2018 his song Wake Me Up (smash hit with 2.1 billion views) as tribute to Avicii whom she called "my dear friend Avicii" (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGbSnnaribZsiZI). ---- Bottom line was that Angelina was becoming well known in Norwegian/Scandinavian music scene at early age of 10 to 12 years old. When I saw Angelina performing in the Norway's Got Talent competition, I knew that the judges understood that they were watching a phenomenal child. The audience also recognized that this child was blessed with gifts and talents that were extraordinary. I believe her grandmother helped to expose her to artists and music of different genres and time periods that felt music...not just artists who sang lyrics. Timeless pieces were intentionally presented to Angelina because her gifts allow her to interpret music that transcends all rationale of age and time. Her understanding of life at such a young age is also baked into her interpretation that we are blessed to receive on so many different levels. Her eyes also have a sad otherworldliness look about themselves that I noticed since she was a little girl. She is a treasure to this world. A demo is typically like a rough draft. A demo singer is someone the song producer hires to lay down the vocals so that the track can be shopped around to artists to see if someone wants to record it. Like for example, Max Martin would write a song, hire a demo singer to record it, shop it around, it would make it’s way to Britney Spears and her people, she likes the song, so she accepts the song.

Absolutely I have heard the baby fuzz original there was a video, I can't find it now, but it was dreadfull far removed from his second effort heard here, which was released a month AFTER ANGELINAS version was leaked. I find it hard to believe that he never heard ANGELINAS VERSION before releasing his own it's clearly a cover of ANGELINAS version.EDIT the only video I can find now is for his second effort I think from 2019.

Two different kind of singers shouldn't be compared with eachother. Both have and are going their particular own ways. I love both very much. And yes I can sing along with Dimash too, at least for some part of his songs. And I don't think anyone can say Dimash is too technical when Angelina sings the shit out a song by using technics! That's unfortunately not a real talking point. Both are very special and they touch us when listening to them. And that's being also said, we shouldn't be that bias and butcher either of the two great singers even if we prefer one or the other!!

Baby Fuzz is American. He wrote it in Norway. Love this song. It's one of her most produced numbers. I think Baby Fuzz was in a songwriting camp in Norway. Maybe with some Norwegians who knew Angelina. I think that it how it got to her. It would be another 3 years before her friend Avicii committed suicide. Check her tribute to him--her slowed down version of his Wake Me Up. So moving.

The lyrics and melody of this song are truly masterful and Baby Fuzz gets all the credit for them. I'm equally shocked I never heard of it because it would have long since been a favorite that I returned to repeatedly to fit my mood like a warm blanket. But Angelina's version far outshines the original in my opinion only because of her gift of stripping down all the production value in songs so that we only connect with HER VOICE as the instrumentation. I think many artists, though undoubtedly talented, must rely more heavily on melody, overlay, and musical instruments to move the listener while Angelina can touch the depth of our soul simply through how she exercises her God-given giftedness.

A song Angelina covers that rivals "I'm Still Holding Out for You" is "Wicked Games". Very scaled back with Angelina playing the keyboard. Her vocals are so simplistic they're complicated. Just gorgeous and perfect. To be able to pull back and flood a song with emotion can only be accomplished by a Master. No one, in my opinion can pull it off like AJ. It's hard to belive that a 10 years old girl can sing like this. After what i Know, she made this at a camp together with a team. The same team should be behind her own song "shield". There are many different rumor about this song, but we aren't going to know the truth until Angelina herself speaks out. Angelinas new cover of "my funny valentine" is for me a vocal masterpiece, but already at 10 years old she could deliver a masterpiece. Baby Fuzz didn't come out with his rendition until after Angelina's. Not sure how much was originally set out musically by Baby Fuzz, for his rendition sounds somewhat like Angelina's, but it's clear that we all agree Angelina's version would have been a #1 record, and Baby Fuzz's rendition went nowhere. It should be noted that the two singers who have affected Angelina the most are both jazz singers. On would have to be Billie Holiday, for this is where Angelina learned 'breathy', sensual releases of sound. But, she also was affected by the style of the most uniquely different jazz singer of all time, Ms. Amy Winehouse. She would apply the 'slurring' of words for added effect, as well as adopting radical 'key' changes within individual sentences. I can hear nuance and inflections by Billie & Amy whenever she sings a heartfelt ballad. Because she's a 'vocal chameleon', you'll hear the essence of Adele at times when singing ballads as well. Adele's 'Easy On Me' is an intricate, complex song by Angelina that has the listener feeling they are hearing 4 superstar singers in one song. Have never heard another singer able to do this level of incorporation of different voices.

I have heard the baby fuzz original it was not very good ,the performance and arrangement were far removed from ANGELINAS, the version the lads played is his second effort and was released just a month after ANGELINAS leaked version , and is a vast improvement on the 1st version and the reason is imo is that he covered his own song,ANGELINAS version,he claims he never heard ANGELINAS version before his 2nd release, I find that hard to believe, ANGELINA recorded this song in 2016/17 aged 10 a week before her 11th birthday it was leaked about 2 years later ? a month goes by and his song is released his 2nd effort,he had plenty of time to release his before ANGELINAS leaked version.PUll my other leg it's got bells on .

She was asked by Nora Jones to open for her in North Korea at 11 in front of 40,000 fans. Mostly I was just writing for other artists, and unfortunately found myself writing some tunes that fell a bit short. During an off day, I was able to go to the Oslo Viking Ship Museum. It houses an amazing set of original fully assembled Viking boats from 900 AD. They have these kind of Nightmare Before Christmas looking adornments on the bows that are incredible. I was really inspired by the beauty and the curves on these boats. I honestly believe the ships inspired some of the writing on “I’m Still Holding Out For You”. The song is simple and stark, yet has a few ornate, artistic moments that remind me of those ships. So yeah, this song had been completed in 2016 and the idea was to try to give it to a big artist. I had sent it to a myriad of people over the last few years, with no luck. I think it was the music industry’s way of telling me I need to start putting out my own songs. Finally, early in 2018, I kind of came to the realization that the demo was pretty strong with my vocal. At the point, I went back in on the production and kind of took it over the finish line. Now I’m super happy nobody else took it, because it feels 100% honest to what I was feeling at that time. A fun line in the second verse deals with impulsive swiping of potential Tinder matches. It’s not even to find someone to match with. It’s just a cyclical behavior of rejecting others in an attempt to affirm an old flame that will never work. It’s actually the whole idea of the song… I’m just delusionally holding out in some monk-like vow of abstinence and loyalty that is incredibly self-destructive. i'm thinking frida or ronny leaked it. CREDITS The song "Shield" was written by Frida Amundsen, Ronny Janssen and Angelina Jordan Astar. somebody said that angelina actually came back and resang this as it wasn't her normal one-take...

So the song was written and produced by me and a few friends in Norway. It was pitched around possibly for another artist to record, and apparently Angelina cut this version around that time (when she was only 10 years old - impressive!). I never heard the demo, though, and we were never approached about her releasing it as far as I know. The song sat for a few years, and then I just decided to put it out with my original demo vocals on. I came across this version after it was out already, and I think it's super cool. I don't think there were any hard feelings or anything, was just a demo that didn't end up getting released on her end. Hope that helps clarify!"

I've been hearing it for 3-4 years and I still have not been able to come to the conclusion that one of Angelina's best songs or even Top 3 or Top 5 is so good that it's hard to choose ... My recommendation is that you understand what Angelina's roots are. Unfortunately, there are many rumors and misinformation about this song. Brandon Lowry (Baby Fuzz) wrote the song with cowriters Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen in 2016. Due to lack of interest in this song, Brandon recorded and released the song himself in 2018. The three cowriters are considered to be the initiators of the demo recording, the three are also the cowriters of Angelina's original "Shield". According to Brandon Lowry on his YT channel, he has never had contact with Angelina or her team. He only heard Angelina's version on YT in 2018 and was thrilled. Brandon Lowry complained that he was attacked and insulted over the Angelina rumors. I suspect that this is why the comment function was deactivated. I guess you have to have good relationships with the studio in order to be able to publish this high quality demo recording on YT. Also strange is the date of the release of the two versions on YT, Angelina's version 11/12/2018, Brandon Lowry version 12/19/2018. Officially from Angelina or her team there is no information about who or why the song was not released with Angelina. 💯 *AJ* 💯

Angelina sang it in early 2017 and the "Leaked" video was uploaded on 20 Nov 2018, one month and eight days before Baby Fuzz uploaded his version. Baby Fuzz the songwriter says this is metaphorical and does not allude to suicide. My thought is that when love is unreciprocated the greater love honors that love by carrying on… and holding out for love.
