what I eat in a week | what REALLY happens when you eat 100g of protein every day (life changing results)
the crazy fitness results you get when you eat a high protein diet aren't always about weight loss... instead, the huge change I noticed was actually internal! as always, prioritizing the FEELING you get during a lifestyle change is the most important thing. join me for a week of intuitive eating, cooking nourishing healthy recipes, wholesome dinner nights, freezing ice baths and cold plunges, and magical moments in Cabo, Mexico and LA.

Friendly tip from a girl with GI issues: when you up protein, it’s important to up fiber too! Protein without fiber can contribute to a lot of gut issues. Love your vibrant glow 😊

Thank you. For someone like me with IBS and constant constipation, this was very important to know
@moodywrites
@moodywrites Жыл бұрын
@@erasedshallbehisname5100 hey, actually with IBS sometimes it’s better to cut down on fiber, particularly insoluble fiber. Fiber is great for the majority of the healthy population, but I have IBS too and it can really affect how you tolerate foods. Certainly don’t force yourself to eat things that worsen symptoms.

@@erasedshallbehisname5100 I was talking more about like preventing gut issues. Having protein with fiber is really important to prevent gut issues, but when you already have them fiber can be really hard.

Absolutely not true. Many thrive and heal their GI issues with a zero fiber diet aka carnivore.

This was such a great experiment. I love this idea. I also agree that higher protein makes me feel sooo much better all around. I struggle to get 80 grams and I can TELL with how I feel when I'm below that and always feel AMAZING when I can get 95+ on those rare days when the stars align!

Jaz, you HAVE to try creamy scrambled eggs! Add 100ml double cream to 3 eggs and some salt and serve with chilli jam and lots of black pepper and it will be the BEST thing you will ever eat. I got it from a recipe book called Spooning With Rosie which has so many cozy everyday recipes!!

I’ve been watching your videos since like 2020? 2021? Anyway, I had just left an abusive relationship and I think my relationship with food has grown with yours. I started out being kind of evasive of things, just trying to feel ‘safe’. It was like a trauma response. But now I feel so much better mentally and it’s shown in my openness to all foods ❤ and I appreciate your role in that! That, and your love for new experiences and relationships just is a good example to find joy

Upping protein from dairy and meat is probably going to cause some heart issues down the line. Try to add things like greens and legumes when adding extra protein to a meal rather than an extra slice of ham if you are prioritising health.
