I know that you are a trained professional presenter but you are SO great at this. One of the great gifts of a cooking host is the ability to make people feel like they can do it. That's how I feel every time I watch your channel. P.S. Thanks for the pizza 3 min oven top tip. Thank you!

Excellent video! VERY well done. Quick, well organized, and clear. No extraneous sidetracks, and just enough detail. I thought the rolling pin snafu added a little humor too. Just perfect. Every online chef should emulate your rhythm.

I have had problems with baking and stuff (because I am normally not doing it) but my parents in law were about to visit us and your videos saved my puny butt several times (they think I am an idiot because I am into martial arts and archery and outdoor stuff). Thanks.

I bake a lot but haven't made buttermilk biscuits from scratch in many years. I'm a bread addict and had a craving for them, so I baked these biscuits today. They are delicious with a pot of beans and ham. Also had some just with butter. I may start making these regularly because I don't have to buy self-rising flour with this recipe.

Thank you, @Jenny Can Cook! The recipe I'd learned to make was really heavy on the lard AND butter because my late husband's family was who taught me, and boy, they LOVE their fats!! Not that I don't love the fats too, but not as much. Your version is more to my liking, but I'll probably keep to the full fat buttermilk, if I can find it. 😉 For some reason, skim milk, non fat yogurt, etc., seems to disagree with my stomach. Maybe something to do with how they de-fat the dairy? Who knows. But I REALLY appreciate your recipes, and how hard you work to develop them and make them easy to make. You're a treasure!! 🍭 🌼😍 🌺

BTW JJ , I remember you from Star Search your talk show -which I thought you were the most polite host host I think I've ever seen .I remember one episode when you had a man on who was American that spoke very poor english . The audience began to heckle him and you reminded your guest like the lady you are saying , " Everybody ,does not have the same opportunity ". You were very tactful and that has stuck in my mind when dealing with people since then . So- your show produced good fruit ! Thank you for that -it's made me a better person Alonzo
