Tuesday, November 12, 2024 . . . Hello. For smudges on the surface of your Mac Book Pro, I would suggest 1 sixteen(16) oz spray bottle filled to about 85% to 90% capacity, then 1 to 3 drops of dish detergent followed by 1tsp.(teaspoon) of vinegar. The actual order of the addition of ingredients is unimportant. The cheaper/less-expensive dish detergents are OK, with fewer additives and all to complicate this simple formula. On a soft cotton cloth, I also use "several layers," two layers, though three is better of high-quality paper towels. One squirt only to dampen the cloth or paper towel, then another if needed; really, most of the time, I never need more than two squirts, and (I NEVER SATURATE) either the cloth or the paper towel, again "Dampen," "Not Wet." If the solution is too strong, then use a 32oz. spray container and the same amount of dish detergent and vinegar as outlined above. PEACE!

I have a M1 Pro MacBook Pro. Its been amazing. They NEED to make the new keyboards better though. They feel great, but the plastic is so cheap and deteriorates so fast. After a few years of use, the spacebar and some of the commonly used keys look so oily, while the function row looks brand new.

Great video man. Are you sure the base M4 MacBook Pro supports Thunderbolt 5? Ithink the base M4 only supports Thunderbolt 4. I don't see an option for a 16-inch base M4 on Apple's website, only M4 Pro and up.

Never get only 512GB. Internal storage is way faster than external and the larger internal drives r faster than the 512gb. U will need to carry these drives and attach them almost all the time. Want to future proof get 2TB. My M1 16” has 32gb and 2TB and have no reason to get the M4.

Future proofing macs is always a good idea. But for me I like to keep the raw footage from each video. Which I don't really need access to 99% of the time. After four years of usage with my m1 I still have about 200 gigs left.
