Didn’t get the meeting because they already use a software they’re happy with, but it was a good conversation and I extracted some good intel. Will revisit that company when they become series D to try and get a meeting. Cheers!

I worked in high pressure sales for the Orlando Magic from 2004-2014. Went to a job fair with 2500 college students, got offered to start with the Magic for $10 an hour plus commission. Started with 12 other 22 year olds, they trained us for 2 weeks. It was intense and all on video. Those two weeks I learned more than I ever have and it’s the most valuable info I’ve ever received. When we were done they gave us a phone book and a phone. I ended up outselling the other 11 people by 10x, got 4 promotions over the next 2 years, helped open and sell out the new amway center from 2008-2010 up to its opening on 10-10-10. Bottom line, if you can cold-call with confidence then YOU CAN DO ANYTHING.

@@albroly2394 I feel immense amount of confidence in anyone I talk to. I will say confidence is all about self image, how you see yourself is how other people see you and since I see myself as better than everyone else I am confident around anyone. I am up to a moment where I can cold call the president of France and talk with her like I talk with my old school friend.
@marksellsjaxhomes16425 ай бұрын
@@albroly2394this is a psychological issue. It’s sorta helpful to understand the RAS in our brains focusing on things we have seen and done rather than something we haven’t yet achieved. It’s important to create a specific affirmation that you will write several times every day and reinforce it with small accomplishments every day. Keep adding and building your accomplishments and goals as you write ✍️. Eventually you see that you are meeting the goals so often you RAS starts to thinks it’s possible more and more. Option 2: Or you work with a coach but that might slow you down if you choose a coach who has to close for you every time. Option 3: money helps a lot. Money is status because it’s liquid and a lot of liquidity has a ton of potential which brings confidence. 😅

The 11:08 insert 😊 This is very rule-based selling, which makes sense to start. Some themes that are touched here work very well in job interviews. End question: „are there any possible concerns left, regarding my fitness for this role?“ I get very honest feedback then. So when they have something I can still address it and when not, they already told me I am a good candidate and makes it way more likely they want to hire me or even close the deal before I might go somewhere else

I sell local advertising in a magazine that's both print and online and cold calling to book appointments is the biggest part of the job. I absolutely hate it and there's a similar script. They say to "be smart enough to listen, dumb enough to follow through." But it's simply not working for me. I have people tell me before I go into what/who we even are that they're not interested and I'm actually very good at building rapport so I know it's not a personality issue....I will apply this and see what happens.
