I struggle with keeping my elbows up when I dip before I bring the bar overhead. Thanks for the tips!

Would you explain the "finger dancing" (transform from clean catch to jerk starting position)?
@kzelmer6 жыл бұрын
It should not be any kind of transition betweem the clean and the rack position. The less transition, the less effort.

Split jerk feels awkward so I've chosen to squat jerk. Am I crazy for squat jerking? Because it's seems very uncommon and I don't understand why
@VanAllenVlogs6 жыл бұрын
johnyvodka it can feel like a lot of work because you’ll effectively “squat” twice instead of squat for the clean then split for the jerk. Requires a lot more mobility to be more efficient and press max weight, but the Chinese mastered this because of their thoracic mobility.

Check Zack Telander's channel. He explained it quite well.

Akieli Brown they appear to be Nike Romaleo 2 lifters. I have a pair and they rock. Kinda pricey at around $200 but if you are serious about lifting they are as needed as knee wraps/sleeves, wrist wraps, and a good belt.
