Jetty Fishing for OVERSIZED FISH - Put Myself in DANGER for This! | CATCH AND EAT

Fishing with scavenged mullet fishing bait at the end of this terrifying-looking jetty. Is it worth it? G says there’s lots of epic fish around this jetty including tarpon, huge red drums, and so much more! I can’t wait to see what I can catch.
My friend G is taking Erin and me out on this crazy jetty to go fishing today! Not gonna lie, it was a little intimidating to walk out there with all the waves threatening to knock us off, but in the end it paid off. We caught some nice fish and made a delicious bluefish lunch. Have you prepared bluefish this way before? What do you think?

Hi Skipper. Blue Fish is good provided you prepare it and consume it the same day caught. Just remember to bleed it and keep it on ice. I have never tried it raw, but have had it marinated in OJ then put in foil with other herbs and some tomatoes sauce and cooked it over a grill can also be put in the oven wrapped in foil. Again, it needs to be fresh and done the same day caught. It will become fishy if left overnight , so do it the same day. Filipino food is awesome, My friends who are from Manilla and Davos turned me on to some homemade pork and chicken adobo cooked on their grill, It was awsome.

Hey Skipper, that place are awsome. You have to try with bread or mixed flour+mineral as bait. Normally rabbit fish or parrot fish like these bait. And they are strong fish. You can try :)

I really like Bluefish. I know an old school New England fisherman recipe. The fisherman were always stuck eating the Blues after selling the more desirable species. However, this recipe on the show looked really good!

For example, rotisserie chicken, shrimp, flank steak, crab/imitation crab 🦀, Hokki clam with the same ingredients. hey skipper! here in the Philippines, the locals called it KINILAW, kilawin is different delicacy, its mostly goat meat and skin... we usually put vinegar (coconut wine or fermented coconut vinegar) and some calamansi or lemon juice and salt, onions, ginger and sili (filipino chili). try it with tuna, snapper even fresh squid or octopus... loved your videos man... Very familiar with this spot, used to fish every weekend with my dad here. Has become a little tougher since the pier was brought down just north of the jetty. Best time to walk out is when the tide is starting to move out. Seen a few guys crack their heads out there. Stay safe, tight lines 👍

Bro in Guam we kelaquen fish,octopus,shrimp, chicken,beef,deer meat even spam ect. We call that "Chesa". Good with steam rice, corn and flour tortillas. Red rice. Incredible!

Yeah in my country we use calamansi daily, for cooking and cleaning especially white meat. The taste and aroma is unique, you guys in the states should try it. That style of salad/ceviche is called umai over here in north Borneo.
