Like a lot of recent fans, what drew me to Jinjer was “Pisces”, which I listened to a lot. When I decided to check out more from them, this was the 1st song I listened to. However, I…..it didn’t work for me. While I didn’t think it was bad, the changes weren’t my thing. I was wanting another “Pisces.” I had the same feeling about the other songs I listened to. When I finished listen to the live version of “Bad Water”, the only thing I could say is “Okay, I get it.” Afterwards, the songs I heard just hit for me. However, I’d go back to “Judgment and Punishment” and I still didn’t get it. During the performance on the Melbourne live, the audience did the “BOOYAH!” When that happened, my attitude started to change. I wasn’t a firm fan of it but I started to come around to it. In December of 2022, I got to see them live in Charlotte. After joining the rest of the audience in the “BOOYAH!”, I realized that I liked the song. Sometimes, hearing the energy of the crowd can add something to a song. Very much looking forward to seeing them again on 10/1 AND 10/4.

Yeah. "Pisces" was the first track I'd heard from Jinjer. I thought it was good, but I also knew I had to dive deeper into the catalogue in search of a WOW track. "I Speak Astronomy" was that track. And yeah, my sister and I plan to go see Jinjer on their Vegas date.

I really enjoy when people react to this early in their Jinjer Journey, so many still have trouble believing Tati's vocal changes are real and not a studio gimmick. After watching this most will just push the "I believe" button and accept it whether they understand it or not! While Tati's vocals initially attract attention to Jinjer, the musicianship of the band is spectacular, and I believe the sheer diversity and range Tati has allows the musicians a wider musical range of what they can play than many other bands and that gives them the "Jinjer Sound" and allows them to do "Jinjer Things." I hope you're enjoying the Jinjer Journey as much as all of us enjoy watching! 💙💛

Well,,,, and everytime you think you know how they do things, - they simply change it. People wiser than me indipendently said that Jinjer is incapable to write a bad song.... and as they are all extraordinately good musicians, well...😁🤘 So choose any song, you can´t go wrong! But anyway: "On the top" and " Pit of consciousness (both live in Kiew) "Wallflower" "Mediator" "Home back" "Ape" and "The prophecy", both are kind of connected "No hoard of value" and "Plus or minus", some older songs "Exposed as a liar" even older "Perennial" from Wacken "Sit, stay, roll over" studio version, a really angry song, "Call me a symbol", took me some time but maaaan, the second half!!!, "Disclosure!" also a song about somebody who really pissed off Tatiana! and and and 🤘

@@VocalCitizenthe work ethic of this band is remarkable. It's elucidating to check out their tour schedules over the past several years. They go hard. I saw them last year on their headlining tour--which they did in between shows opening for Disturbed on their North American tour. They played 5-6 nights a week, month after month. Barely a day between different countries. One tour right on the heels of another. Every show 100%.

Look at you - killin' it yet again for us admirers. Jinjer is a band that thrives on the stage and some of their live performances are better than the studio versions. I have been a metal guy since 82-83ish when I started listening to Iron Maiden. The thrash metal scene followed shortly after and I have refused to deviate from that path. In your entertaining banter during songs, mention your musical upbringing, this might help us suggest other bands 🤘 also, Jinjers Call Me A Symbol (OMV) is fire, may not take over your #1 slot, but they absolutely shatter any preconceived notions about their musical tendencies and roots. Stay cool!

First time to your channel, and instant sub in appreciation of your verbosity! Always here for the Jinjer. Wow, you really do reply to every comment! Commendable. You're starting to feel it, aren't you. This is gonna be your new favorite band. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated lol. With Jinjer, the more you hear the more you love. The shock and awe of Tatiana can initially occlude the brilliance of her compatriots. But one soon realizes the guys are all just as sensational as Tati. I recommend you check out the playthrough videos of Roman, Eugene and Vlad. All of them. You could easily do it in a day (unless you wanna react to them--by all means take your time). That's when the full supernova brilliance of this band hit me. A good example is Roman's guitar playthrough for I Speak Astronomy. You'll be boggled by his amazing chord selection and stellar playing. Like "THAT'S what he's fucking playing??" And if you're like me it will give you a greater appreciation for what Tatiana does. Like how the fuck does she come up with the beautiful melodies she does, over those crazy off-kilter, dissonant, odd-metered parts?? You've probably already seen how they compose songs. Tatiana is presented with basically finished songs, then she procrastinates until the last possible minute. The pressure and stress are primary catalysts for her genius. Just wait until you get to some of the more complex classical-styled compositions like Mediator or Dead Hands Feel No Pain. I can hear Paganini, Chopin, Ravel, Bartok. With fkn blast beats! How in the world does Tatiana craft melodies over music that mental! Love your combination of knowledge, eloquence, and expression. I'll have to go down your back rabbit hole--wait, that sounded wrong. I'll have to check out your catalog of previous reactions. More Jinjer please! Oh, and do yourself a huge favor--grab yourself a ticket for Jinjer's upcoming American tour. They're headlining smaller venues. Tickets are on sale right now! I predict a life-changing experience, given your clear and obvious enjoyment of this most delectable of all bands.

You're quite well-spoken yourself, sir. I appreciate the knowledge of music theory you clearly possess. I've lived around music in some form or fashion most of my adult life. As a creative, I'm drawn to the same. My medium is acrylics, and a novice hand at drums and piano. Jinjer has truly changed my perspective on international prog metal. Opeth/A Perfect Circle/Dream Theater... These are the closest I can come to sufficient descriptors for JINJER... and yet, even these fall short. It's remarkable. Thank you for your kind words and for watching my videos. I would encourage you to save my JINJER REACTIONS playlist. I keep it in order from a true first time reaction and my chronological journey into the Jinjer Wormhole. The blanket reaction term of "rabbit hole" does NOT do this band justice.
