Great Video. Thanks for looking at all of the issues. I've just started thinking about doing a QA on my 40 loader and this certainly has helped clarify some questions I had.

Where did you find the mounting brackets? I have a John Deere tractor with a QT 5400 Bucket kit, need to attach hay Spears but the brackets are welded to the bucket.

I did this to my 45 loader. I did a write up back in 2017 on the gtt forum if you would like to take a look.

Do you think you can modify the mounting brackets for John Deere H120 or 120R loader to put on your 748 ?I have John Deere 758 and can not find a JD45 my other option is a CTC loader.

Anything is possible, but you would be time and dollars ahead buying a CTC or waiting for a 45. Right now I know of 3 across the country. One in IA, one in WI, and one in PA.

Great information and thanks for filming but the nasal drip and constant yawning is rediculously annoying

Is that suppose to be a compliment sandwich? You missed the top piece of bread….

Think this may possibly work on a CTC loader? for a 445
@mmrbeef3 жыл бұрын
It is certainly a possibility! This is one of those project that needs a lot of hand drawn plans and undoubtedly a number of trial runs before you can get it right.

Have you thought about modifing the loader arm holes?
@mmrbeef3 жыл бұрын
That would require a significant amount of modification to the loader and the hydraulic cylinders. The ends of the cylinder would need to be cut off and new ends welded on. The lower arms would require a complete rework of the loader. While it is possible those modifications are far above my skill level at the moment.

@@mmrbeef I thought it may have been easier since the pin holes on the quick attach mount have the same spacing.
@jeffreyallan25453 жыл бұрын
I agree with Bradly. Couldn’t you just ream the holes on the cylinders and loader attach arms? Then fabricate spacers to take up the slack? I would just look for a 1 series bucket and not even worry about modifying yours. Also like I mentioned in your other video once the JDQA is on your loader you have a wealth of attachments at your disposal. You could even use a one series grapple if you installed a diverter valve.

Mr. Beef, Do you have the parts manual for the 45 loader?
@mmrbeef3 жыл бұрын
You can get the parts diagrams through the John Deere online parts program. partscatalog.deere.com Hopefully that helps.

@@mmrbeef All I could find there was info on the old 45 loader for the old tricycle tractors. Nothing on the loader for the X700 Ultimate series.
