A star is born is actually a great movie! I wasn't interested in it at first. Looked like a normal romantic type movie I'm not usually interested in but this was a lot more than that. Sad ending but it fits the movie and is really good.

Yeah, ngl Joker 2 has intrigued me. It just looks so much more creative and artistic with the way it's shot. It looks stunning with bright colours. Hope its as great as it looks, because it does look like Todd Phillips is getting creative control to do whatever he wants, which I'd gladly take over any bland superhero full on CGI film with no artistic flare

You also forgot about The Boys Season 4 which releases on June 13th and The Penguin series that releases in the fall which I think both look really good. Joker Folie a Deux, Deadpool and Wolverine, The Crow and Venom 3 are the comic book movies that I'm looking forward to this year besides Kraven the Hunter because its R rated. Also, the cinematographer for the movie said weeks ago that "it's not a musical per se it just has music in it."

I wasn't too worried about the fact that this movie was getting a sequel, and thankfully, the trailer looks promising at this current time. I think Joker is one of those characters that should have some musical aspects to him, especially hearing Mark Hamill singing in Arkham City (which was fucking chilling). Did it need one? Nah, but I'm not fretting over it. Very hopeful for this one.

Not gonna lie, I was looking forward to it being a musical but the jukebox part scared me a bit since doing strictly covers can either make or break depending on how they’re used (not a musical per se, but look at the Mario movie with the licensed songs being a little off at times). Now hearing it won’t be that big in the film and completely overshadow the themes and delivery of the original has got me more hopeful for it doing well. We need more movies like Joker and The Batman that try to deliver more of a vision and interpretation by the director instead of just being fan service and cookie cutter plots to keep people waiting for more.

We’d definitely get a waaaaay younger Batman if he is the Antagonist for Joker 3. Either that or they put a completely new spin on the Batman mythos. Have Bruce be obsessed with Bats, so much that he worships The Bat God and somehow thinks he’s the Bat-God’s chosen Avatar. They could lean heavily into Bruce being a Bat-Cultist Leader and being extremely Mentally deranged (He has dreams about his Bat god). He ‘sacrifices’ people to this God but still has his No kill rule (A extremely twisted version of it). Instead of being Batman himself, Have him hire a Extremely skilled Hit-Squad and have them dressed up as Bat-Men instead...The Bat ‘Family’ of this Universe. Alfred would probably be a Functioning Alcoholic who’d ignore Bruce’s Bat obsession and just act like everything is Normal. We can still have the Cool Batman gear since this Bruce has been shown as Extremely intelligent and he still has Access to his Parents Billions of dollars. I do believe this Bruce would be rather obsessed with Joker this time around instead of the Original Dynamic. Have him dress up as Batman in the Films climax and do some sick shit.

My thoughts exactly. On pretty much everything. The fake Don't Car Universe can (most likely) go F itself, and the MCU was never great, just took longer for everyone else to notice and WTF?! with Sony's Spider-verse without Spider-Man. The Joker 2 trailer really was like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders as far as my worries went with the news about the film. Looks great. Is a huge green flag that they have pretty much the same crew working on it. Definitely want to see it!

Honestly i believe that the DCEU failed because it tried to be the MCU what it should have done is be the best of what DCEU can be from what DC comics is because why would i watch a MCU equivalent DCEU while i can gust watch the MCU. the DCEU should not have been like the MCU. That's why movies as far from the traditional comic book movie (MCU equivalents) like joker,batman or the upcoming sequels to both movies are existing and people love them because they embrace what does characters are instead they marveld them in the DCEU thats why James guns DCU is not as existing as people think it is. we already saw with blue betle it was mid for me honestly but we shall see thats my thoughts on the comic movies
