Just finished making it...the presentation is off the chart, especially with the caramelized sugar on top & some powdered sugar as well. I also made a fresh raspberry sauce to accompany the tart. If it tastes as good as it looks, it will be a home run ;) *EDIT* This will be one of several desserts this evening for Christmas Eve.

2nd post and review: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 up for the crust. Nice, crunchy texture. I baked it around 4pm the day before and kept it on the table till next day. Prepared the cream (not this cream cheese) 6am next day and then refrigerate for 5 hours and still the crust was so crunchy. Thank u so much. Next time when I have more time I will prepare it with the cream cheese. Thank u

Can hardly wait to make this. In my 70+ years, never thought to use a spoon to make sure the bottom crust around the periphery is not too thick!! It is the little things (plus a great recipe, of course!) that make the final result great.

Stephanie please tell me what kind of butter do you use for this tart? I made it and something went wrong with the crust because when I backed it slipped down on the edge of the tray. Thanks

I just made this tart today.. (Only the crust) Will take it tomorrow to work and will let everyone knows the feedback. Can we use this crust with amy other filling? I mean it was baked twice here cant we just bake it until golden (1st phase) and then fill it with custard, refrigerate and eat? Another thing: I baked the crust today and I want to finish it tomorrow but didnt know what to do to keep it crusty so i kept it at room temperature, i thought if i refrigerate it it will get softened. Did i do the right thing?

May i ask for what reason the doe in the form goes into the freezer? Would it be a viable option to have the oven already preheated and put it in as soon it is adjusted to the form?
@redribbon959510 жыл бұрын
If I use a 25cm/10" tart tin will the mixture for the crust be enough? If not how to adjust the quantities? Please let me know soon I want to make this for Eid on Monday!
