Hi, I'm sorry I didn't put that in the description, the measurements are wing span: 76Cm, 14 width. Fuselage 56Cm, horizontal stabilizer: 25Cm of width, vertical stabilizer: 16Cm height. Use this measurement to have an idea but you can use different measurements really depending on the weight and other factors.

I watched this video back in 2017 when i was in 10th grade, I am from Airforce family and my dream is to be a pilot and to build aircrafts. I build rc plane then at 14 years old age which had best CG but it could not fly bcz i have no powerful brushless motors due to low budget. Only my uncle appreciated me for that. I had craze for it and now i am watching it again in september 11, 2024. now I am 20 years old and doing Computer Science and my ambission is to build RC aircrafts and drones powered by AI which can deliver objects in less time with less cost. I wish i get motivation again watching your videos and get some more nostalgic moments of my life. I respect you sir!

Great video! I love how you explain everything and include a parts list. I based my plane off of yours and bought the same servos you used, but my servos jitter whenever I try to move them. I made sure that the FlySky I6 transmitter and receiver are all properly calibrated, but they still jitter. I tried all five of them, but they all seem to do the same thing. Could the problem be with the servos or is it something to do with the receiver? Thanks so much.

thanks for posting. some late thoughts for you and your subs. do not mount servos in the tail, MOUNT SERVOS NEAR THE CG. mounting servos aft of the cg makes the tail heavier and more counter-weight is then necessary, for correct balance/cg. mount aileron servos as far inboard as possible. ailerons can be controlled with one servo; see strip aileron configuration. at 1:40, the profile shown is NOT a clark-y, it is semi-symmetrical. clark-y has a flat lower surface. fortunately for you, the profile that was cut has a mostly flat lower surface. (stick with the original clark-y, not the clark-y II, which is a more complicated profile.) a poplar dowel makes a better main wing spar. the spar should extend most of the span; not just the middle one-third. at 8:12, make control horns from an old credit card or similar material, not from an aluminum can. mounting the battery as low as possible increases stability. cg appears to be pretty good. correct cg is 30 percent of main wing chord, aft of wing leading edge. cheers www.funfly.nl/Verdiepingen/Vleugelprofiel/Clark%20Y/Clark%20Y.jpg

Try to add all the parts you can to the main body before attaching the wings, and when attaching the wings try to get a feel of where the airplane's center of mass is and place the wings there, if your plane tends to nose dive move the heavyer parts more in the back and if it tends to go up move the heavyer parts in the front.

How do you make the servos for the wings connect to the same channel but make them move in opposite directions? Would it be better to just use one servo in the center or is it better to have two servos?
@Joyplanes6 жыл бұрын
You can use either technique but be having two servos save a bit of hassle aligning them later, and with two servos you can make a mix to make them behave like flaps for landings, it can be programmed in a mix in the radio.

How do you put the motor if the back part of it moves with the spinning? I have a Radian motor that crashed a few days ago, using for part and got a new Radian.
@Joyplanes7 жыл бұрын
The back part doesn't spin, it stays still. Maybe you confused the bell with the base of the motor.
@alexyt44347 жыл бұрын
I do know some motors do not spin on the back of it, where you glue the back part the the wood and then the plane. I have the kind of motor that i call the heavy motor, since its powerful, efficent, and the back part spins and the entire thing is big. I dont have the link but if you can go to HorizonHobby, go to airplanes, sailplanes, E-Flite Radian 2M, scroll down and go to parts, and then scroll down until you find the motor.
@Joyplanes7 жыл бұрын
Thats the kind of motors that will go on a glider but you can use them for any airplane, for that the base is different, make a box where the motor will go and then a hole in the front to let the shaft out and little holes for the screws. It's basically the same motor but different configuration.

@Joyplanes6 жыл бұрын
If the wing is flat like in this model the ailerons are very important to maneuver the aircraft, if the wing only has a diedro then you can consider only having a rudder.
@wonderfulworld20006 жыл бұрын
Create & Invent then 5 channel reciver is compulsory?
@Joyplanes6 жыл бұрын
You need the following channels, 1. motor - 2. Ailerons - 3. elevator - 4. rudder. in the receiver, you need an extra channel to connect the second aileron servo but that should be mixed in the radio. A flysky radio is the one I recommend the one in the description called Radio system (recommended for beginners)
@wonderfulworld20006 жыл бұрын
Create & Invent plz dont mind beacuse of asking several questions.. so we can mix two servos to make one?
