Thanks for keeping us updated. I'm really looking forward to hearing from you regarding how your repair experience was, and how well the trailer performs boondocking. We are very interested in purchasing this trailer and we were going to put a deposit down on one this week. But, then the dealer informed us that the FLX trailers that they have coming in will not be full FLX models and will not have all the components. One of them being the Truma water heater. I think this may be due to supply shortages. I noticed that all the Winnebagos hitting the lots right now are missing the range hood, and they are moving the ceiling vent from the bed area to the kitchen to accommodate. Sigh...we may be waiting a while until the trailers are back to normal build. But at that time, this one is still at the top of our list....assuming it has all the advertised components...

Yeah. Supply chain issues suck. I don’t miss the range hood, but I do miss the vent being in its proper location above the bed, so you can get good airflow front to back.

We to are super interested in this camper. We are in Texas and I love the ability to run the AC off battery power alone! Please keep us posted with any other issues that arise… hope things work out.

Thanks! Aside from the issues I’ve mentioned in my other videos… so far, so good

I live in Texas and found out on our first trip with the camper that if you run the AC, you will only get about 4 hours out of the battery. You can run the fan, but as soon as you turn the actual AC on, it drains the battery fast

May I suggest you examine the settings of the Xantrex inverter/charger and Go Power! Solar mppt charger? Their Apps make this very easy to see. Ours were both in a default configuration. Most obvious was the battery types not being LiFePo and the Ah settings being incorrect for the Lithionics 320Ah battery. I compared all setting to the Xantrex and Go Power! Manuals, and they were all default.

Yes you’re absolutely right. Mine were the same. The guys in the factory (or maybe at the dealership) must have been setting everything to the standard Micro Minnie settings. I’ve reached out to Winnebago for the correct settings on the inverter, and will upload a video showing those when I’m done. Btw, I just posted a video showing the correct solar settings per Winnebago.

@@joestravels3027 I just got off the phone with Winnebago Warranty dept, very helpful (sorta). They know by VIN which trailers have the Lithionics battery that need the update. I explained the Xantrex and Go Power! Misconfiguration and they were aware, and would be providing the dealer the required parameters. (Not sure but I think the battery may be a firmware update? The others are just configuration parameters.) It appears to me that the factory build does not include any configuration of Winnebago’s solar implementation. And the dealer’s are unaware and uninformed.

@@stevenelson7781 yeah, that sounds about right. According to Lithionics, the upgrades were both software and hardware, and I was misinformed when I made the video. Lithionics gave me more specifics. They actually increased the cable size to 2/0, which makes a lot more sense. So far, though, it’s working great. And Lithionics has been great about working to find a solution and following up to make sure I was satisfied.
