Once you finish the forceful exhalation for a set you exhale all the breath out. Do you apply mula bandha and then inhale and hold, or inhale, apply mula bandha and then hold? You did it both ways in the video
@TheSchoolofBreath9 ай бұрын
Yes my friend. Very good insight. You can hold the mula Banda both ways on inhale and exhale and they have different benefits.
@TheSchoolofBreath9 ай бұрын
It's easier to hold the lock on inhale than Exhale so if you're a beginner please start with an inhale lock. Sending much blessings, cheers Abhi 🙏
@buildyourownhuman9 ай бұрын
Advanced practice would place bandha either during the exhale or continuously holding. It also moves away from external structures (perineum) as the lock is completely internal, using force (squeezing or lifting the Anus and perineum) actually inhibits the true lock. It's also important to note that mula bandha is higher up in women than in men. It's at the base of the cervix for women.
@shdhdjdjsbf27899 ай бұрын
Thank you both for the time, will be trying different ones out
@shdhdjdjsbf27899 ай бұрын
@@buildyourownhuman I found out exactly what you mean today. I stopped forcing it and gently applied it at pereneum area, and felt it. Even underneath the navel started sucking in slightly. I used to forcefully contract the Anus, genitals and stomach. I think I have gotten even further in my practice! Beautiful.
@yogimaster19 ай бұрын
I used to perform this pranayama first. Next I would perform alternate nostril breathing. Finally, I would finish with the bhastrika, or bellows breath, with all three locks at the end. You can literally make yourself feel high naturally doing this in the morning when the sun comes up where the air is fresh like at a park where there are plenty of trees and grass.

Haven't been to prison in some time now but Very recently, I stopped using methamphetamine. I found a channel called "breathe with Sandy." Ive done his videos over 300 times. I owe that gentleman my life but doing his content that many times, I found I was starting to hit a "wall" within my growth. I want to gain weight. I m too skinny and eating a lot doesn't help. Is it possible by some breathing technique?
@yogimaster19 ай бұрын
Pranayama breathing will help you in every area of your health and energy. However, weight gain is best accomplished by resistance training such as weight lifting or even body weight exercises like calisthenics, and then eating a good amount of protein throughout the day especially after resistance training. I was also skinny when I was younger.

@@yogimaster1 noted, thanks for the reply. I think you developed weight by these exercises you mentioned right ?
@yogimaster19 ай бұрын
@@deepakadhiraaijog7387 Yes, I always performed various exercises, but I made sure to include resistance exercises to gain muscle size and definition. Supplementing with protein and creatine also helps a lot.

Kapalbhati can assist in weight gain as it stimulates your abdominal organs and improves your metabolism. But in your case you have too much fire element. Please try Prithvi mudra as it helps with gaining weight with increased earth element.

Do you breath in and out when you pull the belly in in the exhales? Or are all the exhales coming from one initial breath in ?
@TheSchoolofBreath9 ай бұрын
Hi there, thanks for the question. You breathe in and out each time you inhale and exhale . Not just one breath. Hope that clarifies the question. Sending blessings, Abhi 🙏

If you can.control yin and yang energy in the lower dantean area, you can generate heat without breathing like this but breathing normally.

can i do pranayama without asanas and doing yoga?
@TheSchoolofBreath5 ай бұрын
Yes ofcourse ! Pranayama can be done without asana however yoga and pranayama complement each other. Sometimes when I have less time I only engage in pranayama. Cheers and blessings, Abhi ❤️🙏

Great practice, well explained. I understand having commercials at the beginning and at the end of the video, but to allow them to kick in right in the middle of the practice is quite annoying

maybe I'm a bit complicated. What exactly does straight spine mean? Is it actually curved? Should you pull them forward at the bottom? Difference in tension in the spine when inhaling and exhaling? What position is the pelvis in? Can you perhaps describe this in more detail? Thanks

If you have severe anemia and symptoms such as extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, and chest pain, you may need to consult a professional. However, if it's not severe, the breathing exercises such as this one would help increase the red blood cells. Sending much love and blessings. Cheers! Abhi 🙏♥️
