One must remember that there are organic toxins -- Anyone who knows their science - Chemistry - and has worked in the Petro-Chemical industry knows that. The use of the word organic in the context of food is an overhyped marketing term for those who know next to nothing about Chemistry. To these people, chemistry relates to physical attraction and not science.
@giorgitsiklauri8403 жыл бұрын
The main benefit of organic is it's simple, you don't have to go digging through all of the ingredients of the product and where they're sourced, you just know there's no added hormones, pesticides, or other harmful artificial chemicals. This is not to say that artificial chemicals are all bad, but it takes a lot of work and research to actually figure out which products have these harmful chemicals, and which have only harmless ones. So, organic is just a quick and dirty label you can look at and know no matter good or bad, there's nothing artificial in it. Most people don't have the time to do the amount of research currently required, the only real way to fix this issue is to make ingredients lists far more comprehensible, to better the education system, and to put these additives into different categories based on how harmful they are found to be by the FDA in different quantities, and then each ingredient would have a letter after it in the ingredient list which denotes the harmfulness level at the amount in the serving. This would of course be an extremely complex and difficult system of classifications to create, with much debate over where certain additives should lie, but if it can be created it would be far better than the current system of either meticulously doing research on every ingredient in every item you consume, or simply cutting out everything artificial.

Potassium and salt are lost through sweat and need to be replenished. Low potassium seems to really be the one athletes or anyone sweating heavily suffer from the most. Probably because salt is in everything and potassium is difficult to come by. Even foods you'd often think of as having high potassium, such as bananas, don't actually have much. Low potassium is what causes your muscles to cramp up, since potassium is what your muscles use to relax a contracted muscle, without it the muscle remains locked in a contracted state. I'm not sure why potassium is so rare even in sports drinks but just a wild guess with no research into it, I'd guess it is because it can easily be over dosed on.

To put it to market would be an impossible task. and given a very short shelf-life of high risk - I doubt the shelf life would be any longer than a slice of bread. There is another point that was not mentioned. Governments have very strict protocols for dairy produce. AUSTRALIA particularly had extremely high food standards. particularly relating to Dairy and Honey. Unlike many other countries, AUSTRALIA denies import of Honey and Dairy from China, as well as other food products - Brazil and the USA are not as strict, with the exception of HAWAII - which has regulations based on AUSTRALIAN regulations.
