There would have been dna proof on both of them if she did it. If she cut her hand while killing her mom, where is the blood dna proof? 1 thing about true crime that gets me is you go in believing the guilty go to jail. Once you're into case after case you see that is not always the case. Innocents go to prison and the guilty walk free or are never even looked at. It is scary.

Are you kidding me with this case?! Noura was convicted and sentenced to 11+ years in jail with ZERO evidence yet Casey Anthony the baby killer got off scot free when there was evidence of a decomposing body in her trunk?! That's absolutely asinine. Poor Noura. There's no way she did it with none of her blood found at the scene and there was video proof of her at other places during the time the murder was happening. This is such a sad case. Thank god they released her when they did.
@ashalon87296 жыл бұрын
Madison L That is what happens when the best money can buy literally does get put to good use...The lawyer got Casey Anthony off but Noura Jackson's lawyer didn't even bother to PUSH to have the hair tested. And since her mother's sisters were blonde...and so was the hair in her hand...just MAYBE the reason the reason the family on her mother's side was so ADAMANT that Noura did it is because the REAL killers are the sisters (Noura's aunts) and THEY fueled the rest of the family with hate and made them BELIEVE that NOURA did it....just to force ppl to look elsewhere, at ANYONE (even their niece) as long as they themselves appear to be in the clear. That evidence in her mom's hand COULD BE theirs or one of theirs! But it has NOT been tested so we CANNOT PROVE whose hair it is unfortunately. Just pure speculation based on lack of evidence (due to not testing said evidence) and her mother's family being deadset against Noura (I know how certain members of MY OWN family are and one is ALWAYS putting blame off to different ppl for her own wrongdoing!)

Probably with the denial of her being able to pled the 5th. For god sake I can barely account where I am at all times at the top of my head sounds like she was kinda under the influence of two downers weed and alcohol and passed out for a bit. Either way she did not have to say where she was in that window and honestly the behavior this court has is out of control. Is it a matching cut from the same knife? Does it even look like a defensive wound? To me it seems like a odd placement??Are the friends even credible why would they ask the fuckboi/ex to testify. It seemed they had nothing and made a narrative to wrap shit up and hopefully end it how it actually looked is beyond me. This lady didn’t kill her mom to party when she would have been a adult so soon anyway...and not because she hated her either. I don’t know a single person on earth that hasn’t fought with their mom or even claimed to have hated them. And some of these people honestly had every reason to and not just being sent to a school until she was done graduating...

Sam Galea I believe Monebebean is trying to say Noura never felt forced or like it was even scripted. It’s very real and raw sounding as if she was in a state of shock and panic. Which is honestly the same reason she ran ahead the thing is about that shock and rush makes things seem almost surreal so of course to her it made sense to her would it have made sense hours later...no. Do you feel like the phone call is damning? How did you arrive at that? Normally I look for strange details later or maybe the slight infections in voice. Idk I can tell when something seems like a lie I don’t think she sounded like a liar I think she sounded like someone in shock and panic that’s clear by the way she immediately told the address as if she just wanted that and that that was most important sending anyone to help!! Maybe she saw the wounds and processed that and was just trying to be as helpful to paramedics as possible. She just sounds in shock. In complete shock. Does she seem fake to you? What’s her tell if any?
@elainebines68036 жыл бұрын
Sam Galea the point you make is valid - however, if there is no scientific evidence of linking her to the crime, then there is an element of doubt, and to convict on that, is, unfair, unjust, and fundamentally wrong

The fact that her fingernails were immaculate is pretty close to exculpatory evidence considering the real killer would’ve at least scratched, chipped or bruised their hands/fingertips from the pressure of using a knife that many times. Also the so-called “cut” on her hand was ridiculously small and on the top, not anywhere near her fingers or inner palm where she would’ve cut herself by holding a slippery knife. Not to mention the untested hair... this case was ridiculous and shoddy beyond belief, so Noura is 100% not guilty. As to no involvement or knowledge of the perpetrator, it seems unfair to speculate on this due to some inconsistencies in her affect, because while there are some, they aren’t drastic enough to indicate she’s being deceptive. The way I see it is this; Noura has already served 11 years for a murder that was not only an improper conviction, but also failed to properly implicate her using legitimate circumstantial factors or direct evidence. Instead, it was just character assassination, a suspicious amount of witnesses (for her poor character) and no real alibi since she was plastered -- none of which is criminal. The prosecutor’s actions, on the other hand, were very criminal, such as testifying/direct examination by addressing Noura in her closing argument and worst of all, withheld evidence from the defence that was the mother of Brady violations and would’ve caused the state to lose. Therefore, given the totality of the circumstances, the abnormalities in her affect during certain questions are a little puzzling, but can be from other things she’s trying to conceal or uncomfortable talking about broadcast to the world; it doesn’t mean she’s complicit. At this point, one should have to prove their position or at least have evidence to make further accusations against this woman who had no business being charged in the first place, let alone convicted. Ghastly miscarriage of justice.

I know why I have a VERY STRONG feeling it was the mother’s sisters. Noura doesn’t have blonde hair - which happens to be the color of the hair that was refused to be tested under her mother’s nails, but who does? The mother’s sisters. Who claimed Noura was asking her mom about life insurance policies right before her death? The brother who (while he’s not her sister) is a sibling of the mom and someone likely to inherit money from the death if Noura didn’t. Who testified against and immediately through under the bus their niece (as well as hugged when their own niece was she sent to prison for nearly 21 years)? The mother’s sisters. Who happened to get money from the estate but eventually settled with the niece they rejoiced after her sentence to life in prison? The sisters.

Yeah, because it was obvious she did it and they know the history of Noura’s relationship with her mother. The number of people blaming the sisters for this shows me just how poorly researched and presented this video is- no other video coverage has people stating this opinion because it’s ridiculous. NO ONE in Noura’s family and none of her friends defended her. Every single one of them thought she was guilty and it’s because they know her and know she was a horrible daughter.
@adrianneguidry81745 жыл бұрын
Britt Conester regardless of what the family/friends felt or thought, there was only circumstantial evidence at best. It’s against the law to prosecute on only circumstantial evidence. The fact that the never tested any DNA beyond showing that Noura’s DNA was NOT present shows a lack of ability on the detectives and prosecutors in this case. My theory- it was her mums sisters. First off two unidentified female DNA found at the crime scene. The sisters were blond which ties up to the blond hair found in her hands. They also turned on Nora way to quickly. They could have easily pinned it on her. And they also received 1 million dollars. If your family member died people look for justice not money.

I totally agree that this is an interesting theory and I do believe the moms sisters could have done it, but how come the DNA that they found on the crime scene wasn't identified to be the sisters? Their DNA would be so similar to Nouras mom that it would be solved instantly, unless the DNA was damaged or contaminated and ruled unfit to use as evidence or something. This theory certainly would explain why they turned on Noura though.

I would have run back in, I don’t get why that’s odd. 100% I would run back in I’d run into a burning building for my mom. The 911 operator didn’t ask ‘was your mother shot’ she asked ‘was anyone shot’ which to me, in my mind I’d be like no, I’ve told you my mom is bleeding, there’s not one else here, so to me it was like a separate thing to reply to. Even if I wasn’t sure how she was hurt I would have thought she was asking was anyone else shot. I’ve called 911 before and it’s incredible different to do, they should give lessons to people on how to make a 911 phone call cause you had to have so many details ready and I forgot my own phone number and address cause I was in a panic. I’m a few years late on this, but I’m just seeing this now and I definitely have thoughts. I had to take a quick break from this video (I was almost finished) to walk my dog, but when I resumed the video, IMMEDIATELY my own thoughts felt stronger. The people who claimed Noura had so many different excuses for why she had blood on her hand seemed pretty suspicious to me, themselves. It’s very odd to me that Noura’s own family would throw her under the bus from the start. I’d think her family would at least give her the benefit of the doubt at first... or even that they would try to convince themselves she wouldn’t do it because they’re HER family. Jennifer’s brother claimed Noura was asking her mom about life insurance policies pretty much right before her death, but I couldn’t help but think it’s be pretty likely that her mother’s siblings would get a substantial cut of the money if Noura didn’t. Jennifer’s family members seemed insincere to me. It’s very strange to me that Noura’s family members would be hugging each other at her sentencing. It’s VERY suspicious to me that the blonde hair in Jennifer’s hand wasn’t tested. Noura doesn’t have blonde hair... but the women I’m thinking are Jennifer’s sisters do happen to have blonde hair. Why on Earth would Jennifer’s sisters settle with Noura for part of the money from the estate if they were so insistent that their own niece (to the point that they rejoiced about her getting sent to prison) killed her own mom/their own sister? If I interpreted correctly, it seems that the reason Noura didn’t answer where she was at the time of the murder was that the prosecution wouldn’t let her. That’s pretty suspicious to me. Wish-washy, hypocritical, so-called-friends’ testimonies also says something, in itself. I started off this video thinking it was likely that Noura did the killing because it was a preconceived assumption...but now she seems pretty sincere to me and I think it’s far more likely that literally anyone else who participated in this trial (including the damn prosecutor, herself) seems to be more of a suspect than Noura does.

I knew someone casually from a whole lifetime ago (maybe 30 years) that committed suicide, and her family claimed it was all of her emotional trauma from being a 911 operator. Her husband said she changed so much and apparently she took the call of a child's death, and after that she became just like a walking shell. I had only met her a few times, her husband was in the military with my husband ( ex now) so I didn't really know her that well, but she seemed like a very upbeat funny person and it was so sad to hear of her suicide.

There was things left out in this video that points to other ppl and motives. She deserved to be released not many do but IMO she did.

She’s innocent. Forensic investigation failed to use the hair in her mother’s hands. The only thing Noura was guilty of was being an irresponsible wild child. I can’t imagine what she went through. The justice system saw her weaknesses and pointed the finger. I can see Noura has done a ton of growing up and I’m happy she’s starting a new life.

There was so much evidence against her- the fact that the incompetent forensic investigators didn’t find her DNA at the scene shows that they’re not good at their jobs, but it doesn’t negate all of the circumstantial evidence against her. The perfect manicure for me is the ultimate proof that she didn’t do it. I’ve had those nails for years and especially blood.... no way that’s coming out of the tiny potential creases or the microscopic spaces between your natural nail and the acrylic nail. I’ve cut myself before and that blood manages to sneak into some crack or crevice. With that much blood, there is no way her manicured nails would have escaped getting so,e blood in there no matter how much she could scrub her hands. Even if she’d worn gloves, the fact that there was no DNA on her-and if she was high on weed, that’s a “no violence” kind of drug. I just can’t see it. The blonde hair in the victims hand is another reason-not sure if the sisters are guilty but was there any connection between the sisters and Nouras father? What about the moms relationships? Was she involved in a romantic relationship that perhaps an angry other woman and an accomplice wanted to settle a love triangle?

Could be multiple reasons she cut herself. Maybe she was racking up some white lines to snort and cut herself with the razor blade. She was known to do drugs. @Chrisyt2724 жыл бұрын
@Mystery I toyed with the idea of becoming a 911 Operator, but quickly figured out that I'm better suited working with the dead, rather than with the living. My comment was in agreement with others, who also listened to the Operator using the term calm down, in a really ineffective way. This young woman was inconsolable after finding her mother murdered, and in my experience telling someone to Calm Down can sometimes have the opposite effect. When she wasn't calming down after she was told to, I would assume they are trained in several different ways to effectively calm her down, so they can get the information that they need. I didn't see any unfair criticism happening in this thread. In addition, I didn't see any clueless kids anywhere on here. What I see is a bunch of people on the internet upset about how this girl got railroaded, and some confusion over the way this case was handled. Beginning with the 911 Operator. I say this with the respect of an almost 40 year old woman, I'm definitely not a clueless kid on the internet. Have a good night.

I think she was probably innocent since it must be impossible not to have any of her mom's DNA on her especially when you're drunk and high.
