I am interested in Stephen Schwartz's career, as he appears so youthful but he's been writing and working since the 60's. I do believe he deserves an outright concert tribute....that we can actually see, as they have done for everyone else, from Burt Bacharach to Stephen Sondheim...all deservedly. Schwartz deserves one too. Not just a blip like the above, with Schwartz singing his own songs, and indeed, very few of them and interviews by someone who could put the dead to sleep and actually, though I don't understand why, made me feel uncomfortable. Schwartz deserves better....from "Godspell" to everything else...he deserves a Kennedy Center Honor, at least and an outright and joyous celebration of his music.
