It's doubtful that modern-day Ukrainians or Russians would say "THE Ukraine." That's Soviet-era slang for "The Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic." Ukrainians are nationalistic to the core (as they should be), value their post-Soviet independence, and rightly resent Bolshevik imperialism.

Stalker is actually based off a russian novel by the name of Roadside Picnic, which is... technically true. It's based of the 1979 movie adaptation of the book by the same name.

Name for me an airport with both the space to allow that suitcase to follow you without someone tripping over it, and has people who wouldn't just snatch and run with it. It's a horrible idea and also rather inconsiderate. Airports are crowded so it's best to streamline your luggage as much as possible. Pulling a suitcase keeps it behind you so it's in a line but the suitcase that must stay next to you is taking up space where someone otherwise could walk next to you. And again, it's a tripping hazard. Also wonder how it would hold up with people all around it and realistically having to maneuver around people, like what would happen at an airport. Note how the videos are of course only in clear and unrealistic conditions.

You do realise that most people have eyes and the ability to move around obstructions? Not all airports are ultra busy at all times. Small, regional airports exist all over the world, not just big international ones.

While yes, airlines have bag size limits, there's more choice in that then what airport you're going to need to use. Also, regarding having eyes and the ability to move, people crash and trip over stuff even in their own homes where they know where everything is, do you really think a suitcase like that wouldn't be a tripping hazard in public? 😂 That suitcase is a lawsuit in the making. Maybe not against the company, but the owner of the luggage.

The first STALKER game while dated is great. Great atmosphere and the weapons handle more "realisticly" You really have to scrounge for weapons/to make money. It's dreary and was an all round enjoyable game. It's nothing like Fallout. There's plenty of mods for it too to enhance and update it. I seriously recommend everyone to try it.

Second STALKER, Clear Sky, was a bit disappointing, although had some great locations, third one, Call of Pripyat, is still good, not as good as the first one, but I still like to play it from time to time and has one of the most insane mods, called Misery, that you have to see to believe - check them out, not many things can compete with experience in STALKER games

Metro was as gritty as Stalker, but completely on rails (and not only Exodus), so it's almost a different genre to be honest if there is no exploration element, Fallout 3 / NV were close to Stalker, but they were a bit too clean and cosy for my taste - nothing beats the brown alert of hearing bloodsucker nearby in the middle of the night :)

I'm a massive fan of both Fallout and STALKER and they're not even in the same genre. One is Sci-fi Horror and the other is Post Apocalyptic, Post Post Apocalyptic even in the case of the original, 2 and New Vegas.

Look, I'm not one to make "Ackshually" type comments, but STALKER isn't post-apoc, as a universe it predates Matro and Fallout, so it's not exactly unoriginal, it has a shitload of concepts in it which I havn't seen explored in any other survival horror games, and also Call of Pripyat was a full sequel, just on the same engine, Clear Sky was a full sequel, just not as open world and more story based.
