My momma loved this song. Anytime it came on, she’d sing happily. Made me happy too, so eventually we would sing it together. “It can be OUR song” she told me… I still remember that conversation to this very day. It came up again recently and her face lit up when I reminded her it was OUR song. She just passed away yesterday. I couldn’t help but to hear it. I’m gonna miss you so fucking much momma. I'm sorry to hear about that me and my husband were together for 20 years and I got sick with cancer and he was taking my pain medication and then I made me feel like I was over doing it for my medication but I wasn't made me feel stupid in front of the kids what always come home drunk and I am and I don't know what to say everybody has demons everybody's addicted to something and if you really want to get help you'll get the help that you are looking for if it's I going cold turkey or going to rehab or just trying to wean yourself off the stuff you'll do it if you want to get yourself better believe me because I mean I had cancer and once my son found out what I was taking he got into my drugs and I got off the medication while I was going through chemo and radiation the first time I had cancer then I went into remission and I was in remission for like 2 to 3 years and then it came back about a year ago and I won't do the chemo or radiation this time and so they won't give me any pain medication to take care of my pain I mean it's not that I would really want to get back on it but it does help with my pain and this is the kind of cancer that goes away and comes back and goes away and comes back I've had a cousin that had it and she dealt with it for 10 years going in and out of remission and she kept doing the treatments for it I wish you all the best of luck

I have a similar memory that I cannot seem to forget. Took her to a karakoei spot and she was very interested. Honestlt, I Never would even consider doing this as a duet. I just wanted to spice things up in hopes to rejuvenate our relationship. I loved her with all my being. I am now the most loneliest person because she's divorcing me and already in another relationship. gone. Ive burned all physical photos so it was strange to find one last one, and it's in my head. Unfortunately Ive tried to mentally burn it but I'm forever either tormented or blessed.
