The only problem i had with the combat was that when there were multiple enemies it got crazy and unmanageable, switching between different enemies was weird and didnt work right, and they kept running at your face and got out of your vision, so if you didnt "kite" them, by running back and periodically fighting them one by one, it was impossible to deflect blows much less land combos and strikes. To me it was clear that the fighting was made to be about dueling, and in that sense it was awesome, but against multiple guys it was trash.

I understand it was frustrating to fight more than 3 enemies at once, even at max skill level, but tbh, it is realistic. I remember one sword manual by a master swordsman of the middle ages actually saying that you should run if you found yourself against 4 enemies (implying you should be able to handle 3 at most). It is pretty realistic the way they surround you instead of just taking turns to get hit. I think the combat has some control issues, which would be more technical in nature, but design-wise, I really think they managed to come up with a very good system.

@@gre8 that's 4 trained dudes though you shouldn't struggle this much against 4 bandits who don't know wtf they are doing and have shit weapons and armour, especially when your basically a knight. Also, the difficulty was mostly because the lock-on was shit and you had to lock off and lock on a different enemy instead of switching between them like for honour. My biggest gripe with this game is despite how amazing some features were, there were many basic mechanics that are just lacking without any good reason like the archery that for some reason the character holds the bow down at his cock instead of near his eye and on top of that, there was no retical and the lockpicking which was just dumb and hard not because it had many different puzzles but simply unintuitive and fucking annoying some of these issues don't even make the game more realistic so there is no reason for them to exist which annoys me cuz this game had so much potential. I mean basic things like a compare menu when looting or better filters, actually exciting fight reactions these are all things that don't hinder realism

That's the thing I loved about the combat lol. I have max combat stats and I still could very easily die from unarmed bandits if there's enough of them and I get grapple locked. Or the do multiple masterful strikes. Makes it to where it feels more realistic. I'm not op. I started as a blacksmith son and am an actual human who can easily die. I'm not an op demi god that has been in fights for 3,000 years and can take on 7 bandits like it's nothing. No matter what level I am I can get fucked up any moment. Makes the game better and adds to the roleplay of it in my eyes. Also made me better in combat. Instead of just spaming attacks when I found out at even max level I could die easily it made me memorize the actual combos and block and counter and do masterful strikers way better.

I was totally blown away by this game. Never would have given it a chance if it weren't for gamepass, I mean, how good can it be without any magic or monsters? How wrong I was. From it's depth, gameplay mechanics, to a story that completely kept my attention....just blown away. Good thing most of the bugs were gone by the time I got to it. Ending was the biggest cliff hanger ever though. I thought I was going into finally getting to the initial point of the game and all of a sudden the game was done. I was like wtf?

2 yrs later (2020) got this game free on epic games and it’s been amazing. All of the bugs were fixed (never ran into one), combat felt hard but very good after learning how it works (imo), lock picking feels 10x easier with the new look/ mechanics, You can compare items in your inventory. Overall this game is gold. The only real problem I had was my computer having a stroke after running this game for more than an hour, not even gta heats up a computer that fast.

Ranton I've watched it a few times myself, there's a lot of great skits in there lol. The "harrrdcore" part was hilarious. The man part at 6:44 was so so. I also liked the part about not finding unique loot and you understood it but it didn't do it for you. Just a lot of well delivered lines. Seems like it comes naturally with how many great parts you have in a single video.

It's hard to say which one is my favorite because I think that you where consistently hilarious. Although the "you can't be transgender and human" joke made me pause the video because I was laughing so hard. Overall you completely nailed the comedy in this one according to me. :D
