I've gone plant based, and I've recently discovered chickpeas & other beans (very versatile), awa lentils. I've ditched milk and am looking into DIY vegan cheese. I'm also looking into various vegan ice-cream recipes (I can't live without cheese & ice-cream!). Most plant-based diets use dates & maple syrup as sugar substitutes, awa a lot of nuts - expensive options that often requires the use of expensive equipment (ie a powerful food processor)...
