Appreciate the breakdown process. Being able to bypass the dealership and purchasing substandard cars will be a thing of the past as the Carvana business model begins to take off within this decade. Does the price includes all the fees or they add them at the end of the transaction?

From what I remember the base price of the cars listed that doesn't include everything else. He'll charge you a little bit more for your car registration but then they'll refund you the difference once it clears.

I'm trading in a vehicle and they're giving me cash value for that so that is subtracted from the total cost of the vehicle. I'm then paying cash for the remainder of the vehicle. If you finance I would imagine there's probably the initial payment but you would have to sync up with carvana or your bank to know for sure.

Are there any fees that are excluded from the price? If so could u list them? Bcus at carmax i was looking at cars but they charge 4,000 on top of listing price. Is carvana the same? Thank you in advance. And nice video 👍🏻

That's a great question. I don't think there are I need to go back and look. They're really good about listing all of the costs and I believe most of them are included. Additionally they do charge a bit more for registration just to make sure the costs are covered and then you end up getting a check a few weeks later after registration is completed. If you financed, can you make monthly payments with a credit card? Can you pay more than the minimum payment so that you can pay it down quickly? Is there a pre payment loan penalty? Can you pay the whole balance with a credit card so you can get you credit card points? Thanks!

Looks like a viable alternative for those looking to buy a used vehicle without a trade in. I'm looking for a vehicle to tow behind a motorhome and I'm on the fence about buying a less than $25k ish vehicle to tow or take a beating and trade in my 2018 F-150 on a new vehicle and most likely trash it by towing it. Since towable cars are limited I pretty much know what I want which makes Carvana very useful. Decisions decisions.

Hey I have a few questions. Do they handle registration and titles fees or do you have to go to the DMV yourself? Also, do they have options to get insurance through them directly or discounts on policies? I want to purchase my first car through them, but I want to know these things beforehand.

They handle the DMV registration which is awesome. They also offer insurance options. I use Geico.

One important aspect of the Carvana experience that you did not mention at all is the pre-purchase inspection during the 7 day trial period. Did you have your Buick inspected by a trusted mechanic? Any corrosion or structural damage in the undercarriage? Any flood damage? Engine and transmission OK? Any bodywork done? That's the biggest concern that most people have about buying a car online sight unseen so I'm surprised that you didn't mention the inspection at all.

I did not take it to a mechanic. Good point. I guess I might be too trusting? Carfax was clean...but that too is debatable.

@@smidgelife Yes you are way too trusting, you should watch Scotty Kilmer on youtube. He once had a TV series for fixing cars decades ago, now he does his own series on youtube. I thought I knew just about everything about cars, but I still learned so much, especially about people selling cars. You could learn a lot! This car looks like it came straight from the auction, by the way it wasn't professionally detailed. Hope it works out in the long run!

Yes, I've watched Scotty and love his work. I had a good experience with Carvana. At some point you do have to trust the universe or it would be total chaos 😆. I trust dealerships less.

From what I remember it varies by the car you buy. when you search you'll see some you have to pay for delivery and others you don't. It was charged automatically.

No. I needed both vehicles. I still have the fair car and will return it at the end of this month so stay tuned for that. Trust me fair is still a good option for short-term borrowing of a vehicle.
