The google doc thing was a very real thing for me in highschool. No phones so all of my friends and I would just edit the doc 😂 had fancy characters and fonts per person. It was really awkward when there was drama though. I fully believe the google doc one, I did that throughout my whole childhood! It’s easy to pass it off as homework, and sometimes it was the only way to talk to friends who weren’t allowed to get discord, any kind of social media, or other chat apps. I guess we could have just emailed each other, but docs are more fun, and some parents read all their kid’s emails.
