The river rock might not have been to some people's taste but it made the house look unique and different. I loved that house and would have picked it. Painting the river rock a light brown or cream with some neat designs would make it look less dark.

I did not like the river rock in the 2nd house and the shower looked a little dark like a cave. The ceiling in the 3rd house made the entrance look elegant. I would have chose the 1st house and had a custom pool built facing the water. I love the entrance of House 1 facing the water at first glance.

He ought to know enough to keep his feet off of someone else’s bedding. That is so rude. No wonder the world thinks Americans are awful.

The realtor really didn't understand the concept of open floor plan in the last house. When she said the purpose for the individual kitchen was for the cook and the other areas for those who don't want to cook. The cook really wants to be involved with everybody else while cooking.

Not if she is employed to cook.
@xeneidabrown45045 жыл бұрын
In Panama and most places in Latin America, people that can afford a million dollar home usually do not cook for themselves - they would have a paid cook/maid who is usually hidden away in the kitchen and not taking part in the conversation. The realtor is referring to a paid cook - it does not even enter her head that the owner would be cooking and interacting with guest.

Pay all that money than a hurricane tsunami wipes there house out I never understood why house's in really dangerous places cost more. Kinda like the fancy cars pay twice as much for half the car. Just think what they could do for others if they payed half the money. That's what I would do if I ever get a lot of money but enough to be comfortable and put all the rest in up lifting my community.

@valynteena2 ай бұрын
@layna8924 they had way more than 200k. Another option is to paint the river rock a lighter color maybe light brown or cream, especially with a kind of paint that won't require much cleaning of the rocks. That house was a steal, unique with so much character.
@wandawallace20195 жыл бұрын
I Re- listened to it again. Is she saying a cook as in hired cook. That would make the difference.
@heatherjephcott50225 жыл бұрын
Of course. I have a cook - but my kitchen is actually outside of the main house and I don't often enter it....(In Indonesia). Bigger homes in 3rd World Countries usually employ servants/helpers. There are plenty of people needing employment. Also, homes do need someone looking after them when the family is not there.

I don't think I could ever be comfortable in a house like that I'd be afraid of messing it up. I also don't like wasting and these houses are wasting I think it's two much for one family just think if rich people did not run the world and claim all God's resources we could all own a home instead of 75%of us working like dogs for nothing well others hardly work and get everything m
