- BMW E91 2008 Touring engine N43B20A
- Misfire counter detects random misfires in BANK 2?
- Fault code 30EA: nitric oxide catalytic converter, sulphurized

- Situation: Spark plugs and Ignition coils are ok
- All lambda sensors and CCV with valvecover, NOx sensor are replaced with new ones.
- Forced desulphation session and deleting long-term fuel trims are done after new parts.

I enjoy your videos :) I'm worried how complex are modern engines. I don't want to think what can broke in my N43 (and the more I don't want to think how it looks in nowadays cars when N43 is 10 years old). Troubleshooting of that problems are nightmare. I struggled with few of them and finally my car works. I can fix many things but even without fee for workshop, a future possible costs of new injectors or NOX probe are enormous.

Thanks! I use TOAD-Scan software with ELM327 adapter for misfires.

For N43 you will not have engine listed in inpa. You will use MSD80 as config when starting inpa.

@@stelianpaunovici3130 you are right, i have config for MSD80/81 for N54, so its for N43 quite different in some parts.

So, there is no n43 engine on inpa ? I think i saw it on the list on some video from Jani.

You need to select right DME (motor control module) You can find MSD80 DME from INPA witch is right module for N43 motor: You choose from INPA: 1. Car body model (example; E90) 2. In the window that opens, select on the left: Engine 3. To the right of the window, the motor control units (DMEs) are listed, from which you select: 4. For N43 you choose --> msd 80.0 for N43 N53 & N54 with EWS4 / CAS These cars with N43, N53 or N54 engines usually use either the EWS4 or CAS module as the immobilizer

Great that the videos are helpful! 😊 4 brand new injectors with version 11 from www.leebmann24.de; cost me 782,72 €. Also you need new set of decoupling elements witch cost me about 40,00€

@@mifo1133 Yes, those are brand new OEM products from a reliable BMW spare parts dealer. The latest injector version 12; costs it 275.00 € per piece.

Jani, I realise through watching all your videos that you now probably have a 'brand new' car haha! You have replace everything on the car. I'm really interested to see how long your car will last (because I know you look afer it good)! Maybe in 30 years the car will still be strong and in good condition. How many miles/km does the car have?

Thanks! Great that you found all my videos! I hope they are useful to someone. 😊 This has been a hobby for myself and at the same time keeps cars and motorcycle maintained and in good condition. Sometimes it goes a little over maintenance! At the same time, this combines another hobby, video editing. After all, that car has been "slightly" repaired and a few videos have also been edited! 😉 The car has been driven about 270tkm. I would think the car will be driven for years to come!
