Thank you Dr Walker for looking into the science of cannabis and the studies on cannabis, and explaining to our representatives , and thank you for presenting this topic of cannabis to our representatives, I hope they are listening !!! …what I’ve noticed where cannabis is legal amongst teens in other countries , there is No rebellion attitude towards the establishment which is a common theme which seems to drop the use amongst teens of cannabis , it’s interesting psychology . Hopefully our representatives in the Cook government will step up and see all there failings under existing cannabis failed laws .

I moved to Holland when I was 13 and went to school there for 5 years. I found very few people in my school smoked weed, there was a small group from every year group that were regular smokers but for the most part it was not really a thing. Despite being able to zip off to the coffee shop and buy weed whenever . I returned to Australia when I was 18 to find ALL my former primary school friends were active users male and female alike. The stigma of it being "naughty" against the law had made it so much cooler to do. Everyone of my age I came across were either regular users or had used in the past. Thank you Dr Brian Walker for telling the emperors they are naked.

The facts speak for themselves. The same story is reflected in almost all states and nations that have relaxed the laws or legalised cannabis.

As a youth worker here in Perth I have seen a decline in cannabis use with an increase of young people using Chinese vapes… I had a young person once confess theft of these devices because they can make a lot money of it… I had disclosed that back in my day I would sell weed “just as a joke” not a suggestion and the response was mind blowing. Nobody wants weed anymore it’s cheep & legal for you oldies now… 🤯
