Troy, the single leg hack squat looks like a leg lunge that is performed with dumbbells. Does it stress your legs in the same way?

Most people use momentum to move the biggest weight possible. It’s ego lifting. All for show. Take away the momentum and then suddenly you have to do some real work.

@@rishabkumar9646 it depends on your discipline or goals. I’m an Olympic weightlifter so double is not something I train often i would do it for fun. In my case in need to be explosive. For runners it’s different and bodybuilder also so it always depend on your discipline and goals

Thats a bad technique with the Leg Press, bringing your knees to your chest, you'll curl your lower spine and injure your lower back. The Leg Press range of motion is almost a partial movement on the way down, the lower back should stay dead flat against the padding as you come down. Once the lower back starts to curl/leave the padding you've come down too far. I used to do Leg Press as you have demonstrated in this video, got the killer quads but eventually I injured my back. Sort advice from my Power Lifter friend and he showed me the correct technique and that was 25 Years ago!
@TheBladeX103 жыл бұрын
Now that's an usual problem. Big biceps, shoulders, chest, triceps etc... but a chicken legs 😐. I told to myself, i'll do legs at least 3 times weekly, doing at least 25 reps and up, doesn't matter the weight, but the reps. Quads are very large muscles which require real work. Also very important, the squats itself have minimal impact on glutes. Standalone exercises for both 3 glute (minimus, medius and maximus) muscles should be done along the legs 👍🏻👌🏻.
