Brilliant advice RE habit vs motivation. When I allowed motivation to dictate my habits, I was unhealthy and unhappy in life generally, so I focused on cultivating good habits. I realised a few months later that, whilst I still had bad days, 9 days out of 10 I was happy & motivated for everything, whereas the balance of good days & bad days was reversed previously. I truly believe it's because good habits breed enthusiasm - Not enough people realise how much making good habits can improve your mental health and attitude to life.

Even though these are a killer for your glutes, a workout alone wouldn't make any noticeable results if isn't combined with a structured diet aligned with your goals. You need quality nutrients in exact portions to make sure your body will regenerate all these damaged muscle tissues and not store unnecessary fat in the process. I'm following Dietarize's fat loss meal plan for four weeks now and my boyfriend has already started complimenting my body 😊Great video Krissy, keep up the good work!!

My friend lost around 65lbs (she was almost 200lbs at 5'9"). She is SO small now, she went down almost 2 cup sizes and has very little bum shape. She told me she wanted to start working out, abs and bum especially to grow/tone. I tried to explain to her that if she wants GROWTH, she HAS to alter her diet 180 degrees. Because right now she eats very little calories in a day whether it be good or junk food to maintain her weight. She wants to keep the fat off but gain muscle. I told her in detail that it's not "just working out", she needs to properly fuel her body, count her protein, calories, carbs, etc, and that itd be even MORE difficult since she DOESN'T want to get fat weight back. But she insists she's fine and has started to do at home workouts and that she will grow. It's really disheartening and you can only tell/teach so much. I grew 7 inches around my bum/hips in about 7-9 months and i bet i would have grown more had I eaten properly in the beginning. But the past 4 months I've started eating more properly and am growing faster than i was at first. Its a ride, and you have to be committed to the lifestyle if you want the results

@@maiakrumsieg6415 what exactly do you eat in order to grow muscle?
@maiakrumsieg64153 жыл бұрын
For me personally? Every morning I have 4 scrambled eggs with 1 protein waffle and a small glass of milk. That is around 40g of protein. I have either a protein shake or fairlife throughout the day which is anywhere from 30g-40g of protein. I also eat one RATIO protein yogurt which is 25g of protein. So I'm getting around 90g in just hose few things. As far as lunch and dinner It ranges from chicken or beef recipes. I'm Asian and cook TONS of Asian food and love to cook, I just load the eggs and meat in stir fry. So as long as I get those first few things in, I don't even count because I got my goal 90% of the time. I'm not on a diet at all. I still snack, eat alot of carbs (which are actually essential for growing muscle) and LOVE dairy. I'm not concerned with the little bit of fat around my stomach. Food is too good to give up lol
@maiakrumsieg64153 жыл бұрын
Right at this moment I'm actually cooking a recipe from RECIPETIN EATS called mushroom stuffed chicken breast! Except I don't stuff the chicken, I just put everything on top, I ain't got that much time lol. Great high protein meal that's easy and I do a side of cut potato's or egg noodles
@shaec34052 жыл бұрын
@@maiakrumsieg6415 and you could cut sugar and carbs further if needed by switching from fairlife to premier protein, making sure your yogurt is a high protein, Greek, zero sugar if it's not already, and cut out a couple of yolks and keep the egg whites. That's what I'm doing too. In training too.

Hi Krissy, here's a post I sent to Bret Contreras about you guys helping me out: Here's another one to add to your list... when I found your videos about a month ago I was using no weights and went from having to force myself out of a chair due to hip pain the physiotherapist said can't be helped to standing up slowly in a controlled painless movement. The precision of these exercises are overcoming osteoarthritis in my hip, three places in my spine (including a broken 1st cervical) and right shoulder rotator cuff as well as aiding in healing the torn meniscus in my right knee and the growing limited movement and pain in my left ankle (broken in three places in 2008 necessitating a 6" plate and three pins). I'm 63 years old and the glute, leg, arm, back and chest muscles are showing growth. All this without a lot of weights or going to the gym (it does help to have an infrared sauna to climb into after working out), so between a healthy diet, you and Krissy Cela I'm feeling better and more in shape than I have in years! Thanks! Krissy you've been a great help in my looking at a pain free future! You're a wonderful person! I moved back to the family ranch to help my 87 year old mom who has mobility problems, being able to do for her is so much better pain free! Science has come so far during my lifetime.

I love the way you mentioned how we shouldn’t rely solely on motivation because it comes and goes.. i never thought of it that way. I love watching your videos and hearing your tips while I’m at the gym. I appreciate you, Krissy! ♥️
