for what it's worth, the void orbs that Ruinous Effigy makes works with the new warlock chest piece, so you can get super energy with the spheres and then once your super is full you get bonus damage after every kill, it's really fun so far.

Please check the season announcement trailer. Caitl literally slices her hand with a knife in what appears to be a blood oath with Zavala and Crow present. Bungie attempts to throw us off by playing a voice line about "her sharpening her gilded knife", over this scene, but in reality this will be at the end of the season when she pledges herself as an ally to the tower.

In terms of lore, it kinda makes sense that not everyone in the universe would believe the hype around the guardians. Cabal have ruled galaxies for millions of years, and we've managed to do some insane things in a handful. It's like a blink for their empire, so its understandable that they either don't believe it or haven't heard yet.

It would make sense if we didnt also have lore of the Cabal troops sending word of our exploits to their home world throughout D1. The Cabal empire (at least the higher ups) should be well aware of what we're capable of and the attitude we have about it. The Cabal forces on Mars were terrified of us because they'd watch us wipe out an entire platoon and start dancing on their corpses or doing flippy tricks on our hover bikes. It makes sense that they wouldn't back down because that's just how the Cabal are, but they know the stories are true.

When you think about it, Devil’s Lair main shtick is a wave defense area and an open clear all enemies area. Compared to D2 strikes, this strike is very simple and straightforward in terms of mechanics if there is any. So Bungie realized this and upped than density of enemies to make it more intense and its a pretty great strike again.

From what I've gathered, the Cabal homeworld (Torobatl) has been ravaged by either Savathun or Xivu Arath and might have met a similar fate to what Mars and our other lost worlds did. At the moment, the Cabal are in a similar position to the Eliksni after they lost Riis in the Whirlwind but also in our same position, reeling after the Darkness' arrival.

How cool would it be if we got a Fallen Civil War between what remains of Dusk who are those new Fallen that are just doing stuff, a renewed House Devils which would also explain the returning strikes and who want to bring back the old ways cuz they're boomers (maybe some of Salvation split off and headed back to the Cosmodrome?), House Salvation who are leaderless and maybe are now like a Stasis cult, and finally House Light who are just straight up good guys. That would easily make a unique story experience and maybe even have some cool gameplay elements.

I believe Calus is dead because in the new Dead Man’s tale mission, there’s a possibility to hear Calus’ voice. In that mission you hear voices of dead people, like Cayde or Uldren, and you can hear Calus, so I believe he is dead.

What if Crow is an ultimate ploy by Savathuun?? What if she was able to resurrect Uldren and make it appear that he’s been reborn as a guardian. His personality may be genuine, but he may not even realize that the Traveller didn’t bring him back, but Savathuun did. What if the entire Uldren or Crow conflict makes us tear each other apart over this character, that we become separated, broken, and in shambles so that we as a whole are vulnerable and susceptible to one fell swoop of an attack from Savathuun. The Spinfoil Hat is on and fits real well.

Sunsetting! I see it as a way of changing out the perk pools. Some of the OP weapons had certain perks that they are wishing to change out. I do not have the full research in front of me, but suffice to say certain perks are attributed to the OP weapon. Bungie stated themselves that some perks were not getting the attention that should have been given.

The thing that caught my attention with Caiatl was the one act of letting Zavala and Osiris leave despite knowing the Imperial Cabal would likely be attacked right after. Cabal do not do that, so the fact Caiatl did says there's far more to her than she lets on

Caiatl ia a fantastic character so far, that seemingly came out of nowhere. I know we've had mentions of her in text, but now, having a face and a voice, it helps a lot. She's imposing, confident and worthy of respect. She's not some generic enemy who makes empty threats and gets deleted 3 month later(I hope it won't be the case and so far it doesn't look like it). Also, the fact that Zavala and Osiris adress her by "Empress" speaks volumes.

In the sense of the roles of multiple characters like amanda, saladin, crow etc, in paper, its pretty cool indeed, but the problem is that we don't actually see paladin at the frontline, we never see amanda flying, dodging missiles idk,its always better to show than to say, if yu say that amanda is there with yu providing air support, it doens't feel the same as you see her blow up three centurions or put down a threser or somethin

Just an idea, but what if a way to fix sunsetting weapons is if you have a weapon that is getting sunset and lets say its a god roll and you really like it. WHAT IF you had a certain number of kills on the masterwork (like 5k) and you could then trade that gun in for a weapon with the exact same roll. Or maybe just bump its power cap. ( just an idea)

In response to the uneasiness of accepting the Cabal as an allied race, especially with Ghaul, This year has already begun with a lot of forgiveness for past transgressions. We're already with Variks and seem to have forgiven him for his past stuff with the Prison of Elders and such. Same with Crow, at least our guardians have seem to have forgiven him for killing Cayde and such. Seems like this entire year feels a lot about looking past the problems in the past to fight for the future.

I wish bungie would make a weapon like they have in doom where it’s like an auto rifle that shoots orbs of energy that don’t travel as fast as bullets but it’s awesome. I feel like they could do some awesome stuff with a weapon like that. Maybe it shoots faster but the plasma orbs are smaller and then one that shoots slower with a bigger orb that might do splash damage.

As someone who plays a lot of pvp, I think slows would be more acceptable as well if they got rid of the accuracy penalty. CC abilities are in other more competitively balanced FPS games like Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, etc. but the difference in those is they don't take control out of the player. If you are good enough, you can fight back in those games. In destiny though, the amount of power the freeze and slow have is extremely frustrating for sure and the only subclass even able to get out of a duskfield is top tree dawnblade. This isn't even mentioning shatter abilities and super balance. I don't mind the idea of stasis in being a defensive toolkit but with it's current balancing, it does feel bad currently for sure.

Man. I completely agree about the villains, cause it’s like “Do they not recognise the fact we clapped their gods yet??” It’s offensive and ignorant to themselves and the writers. Also, I don’t like that our character switches importance whenever the writers feel like it. One minute we’re the best guardian around, next minute we’re treated like someone else’s chump. I’m not intimidated nor scared by savathun because Bungie has made guardians practically invincible. There’s no element of worry in this game. The guardians always win in the end and that simply sucks. So savathun technically is no real threat because we’re going to beat her as usual. Regardless of how long Bungie drags it out. There’s no real consequence in destiny. As a game. There’s no character choice. How can you be scared or intimidated by savathun? She’s going to serve her purpose to the story and die. Just like every other villain. Which is why Eris being the Witch Queen makes WAY more sense to me than Savathun.
