Got one coming in a few days. I'm really excited. You might want to look up info on resin and UFPs (ultra fine particles). To take care of those I'm getting a ventilation setup for my printer and an air purifier with a HEPA filter. Hope that helps.

That’s exciting! I have mine in a grow tent with a HEPA and activated carbon filter and one on the outside just to help a bit lol but thanks for the tip!!

When you are printing with the clear resin have you gotten any bubbles inside the print? Can you print a 5”-6” tall solid object with the clear to see if you get bubbles?

Hey! Thanks for watching!! I did initially have bubbles but that’s probably due to me shaking the bottle to mix the resin and printing right away. After the resin settled and all the air was out i did not have bubbles

Hey! Initially I did but it’s probably due to me shaking the resin up in the bottle to mix it and then poring and printing right away. If I let it settle in the vat and then mix it slowly with a silicone spatula it prints with no bubbles from what I can see

How long ago did you preorder it? The status of mine hasn't changed. Also I saw that it has 8 exposure zones for calibration. From reviews i thought it only had 4.

@@ThatDudes3DPrints From what I have seen there are indeed 8 zones. Just hit the lower middle button to change it from 4 to 6 to 8. 👍

Just ordered mine as my firsr printer. how bad is the smell? can i have it in my room next to a window or should i leave it in my garage with my garage door half open?

It honestly depends on the resin you use. The Sunlu water washable isn’t too bad but the Elegoo 8K and the Sunlu ABS like are pretty bad. I would say the garage would be best. Or get a resin tent or a grow tent and vent it out your window. I use this one a.co/d/001KvgO2 comes with a fan and a hose to help vent it out a window. But if you have the garage as an option I would say that with an air purifier or a fan to keep the air circulating.

If I print in my kitchen *was my only location for a bit* the whole house has a smell that dissipates after a few min. If it’s going to be anywhere where people live get the filter system for it as well. If it’s in a garage or shed the. Your probably ok depending on your sensitivity
