Thank you for shedding light on the Edmond post office shooting. You covered it in a kind and meticulous way. The post office is still open to this day. I've been there on a few occasions and it's hard to believe such a tragic event occured there. The statue is a beautiful yet grim reminder of that day.

I was going to UCO and would go to that post office regularly and had no clue until I saw a show on History Channel (when it was still an educational channel) about that shooting. I was totally taken aback seeing a place I knew that well on the old footage. Next time I went I paid more attention to the statue.

I'm from Lawton and I clearly remember the Cache road serial killer. I was coming home from work late one night as I topped a Hill on the back road I loved on , and seen nothing but police lights everywhere as I got to where the police were they stopped me , I asked what was going on they said they had found Janice Bono body directly across the road in a small pond maybe 50 ft from my house. I never slept in my house again after that night

Yesss, my state! I've been in Oklahoma 99% of my life, outside of about a year and a half, but I've moved to a few different places in the last few years. I was born in Broken Arrow, lived on the west side of Lawton for most of the time I live there then moved to the other side of Lawton for about a year and a half then moved to Choctaw for two years and now I live in Harrah. Fair warning to everyone, if you haven't been to Lawton, then don't go, it's absolutely trashy and just not worth it.

I live a couple towns over from Tulsa and Oklahoma City. My town doesn't see very many murders, I've only been able to find a few murders happening in my town, and the last time it was on the news was when the woods in front of the high school caught fire and they had to evacuate all the students. That was ten years ago, though. There is, however, a lot of gang activity in Oklahoma City. My cousin grew up on the roughest side of town possible, and he witnessed some stabbings, and it really messed him up

I live in the area around camp Scott, there is alot of stuff that's odd about the case.3 perps in the case, each perp had a victim to themselves.the 3 men are responsible for robberies that had happened in the surrounding area of camp Scott, one of the perps admitted to being responsible for the crime while incarcerated for dui,and I'm not talking about Carl meyers.most never even find the info on the 3 perps, and it's a well known (in Oklahoma)fact that evidence against hart was planted by law enforcement, the surrounding native population would not have helped hide him if he was responsible.i know the family who owns camp Scott.

They call the house in the first one " Hex house ". Maybe due to a shape? Tulsa world has some good info.

A hex is a witches spell. It was stated in the story.

@@jakefromstatefarm5204 didn't catch that in the story. It was a popular thing at the time that house was built to name them. The name wasn't mentioned.

Gallows humor, such as 'Going postal' is a way for humans to deal with the stress and trauma of life. Its a decompression mechanism. Yes, humans should absolutely be allowed to laugh at death.

As long as it's not disrespectful, I completely agree. People deal with death and tragedy differently. But I'm glad fir the educational story. I had no clue.

I've lived in OKC metro area and from the town where Kevin Underwood lived. My son was/is good friends with his younger sister. His family is nothing like what he turned out to be. I've heard of all the stories presented but you need to do one on what he did and watch or listen to his interrogation. Creepy AF!

My significant other hates anything horror or even thriller-ish. You got him to listen to this at 2:00am. I am envious. 😂
