This looks like it’s going to be anxious and dark as hell. I just know Nicolas Cage is gonna be so unhinged and I love Monroe too. I’m very excited for this. The director is the same director that made The Blackcoats Daughter which is super underrated and captures depression and loneliness better than a lot of horror i’ve seen, so excited to see his new work as well. I also get huge David Fincher vibes with this, but I definitely feel like there is going to be paranormal/otherwordly elements at play due to all the little teasers and trailers and imagery we see in them. Edit: Actually so many interesting looking horror films coming out this year. Longlegs, Heretic, Nosferatu, MAXXXine, The Front Room etc.

Please, I just came here to comment after watching it today. It was definitely one of the good horror movies that left me feeling uncomfortable throughout the entire show. It wasn’t just the feeling of horror, but a mix of everything from being disgusted and creeped out, not just by the antagonist but even by the main character herself. Props to the marketing team and the trailers the have been making. I wish others made the same effort like Blumhouse and Universal. Nothing personal on them but they ALWAYS give away so much. I can not wait to see this!
