This week, in northern Wisconsin, USA, we had a Super Blue Moon. It was its brightest about an hour after sunset, it was so bright we almost didn’t want to look directly at it. The TV weatherman said the next Super Blue Moon will be in 2037! It was a special moment in time seeing that beautiful moon.

It is still dark here and I tried to find the moon but there were clouds. However, I took a moment to enjoy a rare morning of fresh air and listen to the trees as the breeze moved them. I like you love the country....have never lived in it but have a fairly large yard in the outskirts of a busy city and we attend a little church where we get to drive in a more of a country setting. I had to write down in my journal what you said about nature not requiring “materialism, capitalism, or richness beyond dreams, nature strips that all away and reveals the bare bones of what we need to be content…to be present in the world, appreciate it in its raw beauty, and respect the gifts she gives us.” How absolutely perfect. What a lovely menagerie you have there.....trailing along with you ! I adopted/rescued a ginger kitty who we eventually named Lola . Started out the name game with Ginger , then Pumpkin , then we settled on Lola , after a sweet elderly lady I knew and much admired for most of my life . Same green knowing eyes that reminded me of her . She has chosen me and just tolerates the others in the household . Never owned a cat ....but truthfully we know who owns who . She is such an integral part of our family that I can't imagine life without her , well maybe at 5:30 am when she is telling me it's time to get her breakfast for her , I for a moment recall those mornings when I could catch an extra few winks , not now ,,,,,,,,anyway I love the peaceful nature of your videos.......cheers Cherryl from Canada

@@LostForest Seems God blesses me with these special animal relationships as I use to have the most precious Palomino mare named Misty and we shared each others souls , as is the way with Lola and I . When Misty passed away I grieved for 2 years , my heart was broken . Even the huge crows seem drawn to me much to the chagrin of my neighbors because they can be startlingly noisy . I have 3 sets of crows , one set at the house , one at the trailer and 1 at my work , all named Archie and Charlie . They greet me each day as I park my car,,,,,,usually looking for breakfast . What a wonderful feeling even if they are just noisy old birds . Everyone should experience that bond at least once in a lifetime ! We'd all be kinder people I think !! Thanks for this beautiful video! I was pondering it a bit and I realized, nature presented within the city is nice but quite manufactured. Then there is nature that leaves you feeling lonely. There is this other type of nature that isn’t isolating, rather teeming with life- cows roaming, hills of sheep, kittiecats prowling about, life is free to move about in the natural flow of nature and humanity in balance…I think that that’s how it’s meant to be and solves so many problems in life! Yes, I believe so. Man-made areas of nature in cities are planned, structured and usually devoid of native species. It gives an artificial sense of nature amongst so much concrete and modernity. A natural living landscape that's in tune with the shift of seasons, and alive with wildlife evokes an innate and primal connection deep within us. 💚
