Season 2 was one the best depictions of SH and therapy and recovery I've ever seen, it was amazing. I feel like this season was a good balance of heavy and light. Seeing Georgia's flashbacks with Gil was heartbreaking. I like that ginny and padma didn't do the whole girls hating each other thing and became friends while working together. And yes Joe and Cynthia was awful. Season 2 was so much better and Austin shooting his dad was crazy. It's been a couple days since I finished season 2 and it's just in my brain. Exactly, they're portrayed as real teenagers. Being a teenager is so hard, you're still a child, and people treat you so, but there's also an insane amount of pressure, and you have to choose what you want to do with the rest of your life. At the same time, you're dealing with realising your parents are real, flawed people and they make mistakes, you're dealing with friendships and all the drama that comes with it, romantic relationships, heart break, pressure in academics, pressure to look and fit in the right way. It's chaos and teenagers learn it all as they go along. So consequently, they can be dramatic and emotional and highly-strung. They can make impulsive decisions. They can say and do 'cringe' stuff. They think that the world is ending most of the time, I remember being a teenager and whenever something went wrong, it was like my entire world imploded. Their feelings are so heightened all the time. It's the first show I've seen in a while where this is represented accurately. We've all been a Ginny or a Max or an Abby at some point.

I was much more of a Georgia stan season one, but season two shows that shes not always just doing what it takes to survive, there is seriously something a little wrong with her.

In my opinion, s1 was a mess, but the good kind of mess, the "I hate it but I can't stop watching" kind of mess. But when it comes to s2 OMFG I LOVED IT. Yes it had some cringy parts but not as many as s1. The characters were way more likable and most of the storylines were great. I never thought I’d be crying for this show, but in s2 I BAWLED my eyes out in like 3-4 scenes. I have also genuinely laughed watching s2 without cringing. They actually had decent jokes. When Ginny tells her dad and mom about her SH I cried my eyes out. So well done. Surprisingly, and I never thought I'd be saying this, but Ginny is probably my favorite character this season. Ginny, Abby and Marcus I think are my faves. Also I have to say, Austin is such a king. Imagine witnessing your mom murdering someone and not telling anyone, not even his mother just to protect her🥺Like that boy gotta be traumatized. You should watch 1899 at some point, it is SO good! Basically, a mystery with somewhat of a horror aspect in some parts, about European immigrants who are traveling on a ship, the Kerberos, to New York. They come across the Prometheus, another ship, that had been missing for four months. From there, things just get weirder and weirder. It is incredible!

I really like Paul and think he's the only one that works for her as the both live power love each other and Paul also loves the kids. While Zion and Georgia love each other But theyre relationship is in the past and just can't be renewed again and with Joe. I don't think he loves her I think it's just a crush. He literally only met her once in the past. Plus if he knew all that georgia did he wouldn't get accept it it would just be to much and Paul already accepted georgia and her kids and provided very much needed stability for them and a constant father figure especially for Austin. And Joe would deserve someone sweeter kinder that georgia not cynthia though😅

s2 is more epic fr but s1 is still good and showed a lot of potential actually. That's the first show I have seen that put real thought into its characters and tried to portray rl situations. the most realistic dinamic between daughter and mother too. and the thoughts of the characters were all logical, when marcus had deppressed thoughts for example, that really hit home for me. it had its not so well written sences ofc, but so many things were on point I was suprised to find out so many ppl disliked ginny and s1 in general like have you seen other shows on netflix?

Marcus and Padma weren’t dating Also Zion is overrated as a match for Georgia, he basically abandoned them and was absent for the most crucial times. I get he’s older now but it’s best for Georgia to look to the future not in the past.

It kinda gets me mad when people try to say that Maxine had no reason to be upset at Ginny. Was she wayyyy too dramatic? yes. But I think it goes much deeper than just "oh my bestie is dating my brother, i don't like that". I think she was mainly just hurt that her best friend was sneaking into her house to have sex with her twin and deliberately keeping it a secret from her. Like that's her own blood. if Ginny was honest about it then Maxine wouldn't have a reason to be mad, but it's the lies that hurt her.

I don't get the Ginny hate, I actually kinda hate Georgia. I get that she had a tough life, but she's so selfish and impulsive. She doesn't care who she hurts. Like taking Ginny away from Zion and to flirt with Joe and cheat on Paul.
