I was thinking outside the box today when I was planning our meal. It was nothing fancy but we were going to use our gas grill to cook some chicken for our salad. We were already enjoying a fire outside when I decided to cook the chicken over the open fire. I was a little nervous but it turned out great. God Bless and everyone stay safe🙏

Hi tessie. I made burgers with our last venison..:( homemade french fries and baked beans today. It was nice bx we have been doing pantry meals..spaghetti..chunky soup over noodles..etx. i got out after being home for 2 weeks plus to do alittle shopping and picked up clearanced hamburger buns so happy. My kids were thankful too. Tomorrow im doing a bigger haul :) then ill be back to staying home.

I heard on radio that the food shortages r partly bx most ppl r used to eating out like 35 percent of population or something..so groceries rnt prepares for this rush on food..ppl r not used to being home n cooking 3 meals plus a day..i say plus bx my kiddos r endless pits..we r home usually during normal times bit i did treat them 1x a week or so to mcds..now nothing so making special foods like pizza or burgers n fries makes it easier 4 them and mama too lifts our spirits..wr had a fire tonight and i made smores..

O my gosh I used to do this when the kids were young, I made a little bit of hamburger mixed with bushes baked beans and a bit of b.b.q. sauce. Then I made corn bread muffins, we ate at the old wooden kitchen table with a lantern. We would talk like the bathroom was the out house and the garge was like the barn and on. Now days we get together we don't do that, so THANK YOU for the memories and this was a great idea.

Hi sis...love sent to you...❤ I made my own tomatoe soup today.. I jar home canned tomatoes, skins on 3 T butter 1 cup 1/2 1/2 Few twists fresh ground pepper 1 jar homecanned gr. Beans Blend tomatoes till smooth.... Heat all but cream, when hot, pour cream in... be careful, it will curdle... ENJOY !!!!!! 😃❤

I use the back of a spoon to spread butter or mayo. It works great. I have ice tea spoons and they reach into the mayo jar better.

Tessie, my Pinsoon Air Fryer/dehydrator came in TODAY 4/1!! I am so excited to start using it and so happy you did the product review on it! I can fit a small pie tin, my pyrex loaf bread pan, my small pyrex casserole dish and a small cake pan in it. (Not at the same time of course) Thanks for the recipe for those potatoes, too, they sound delicious, or, as you say, YUM YUM!
