Are you looking for stretches too cool down, after a workout or to kick higher ? If you want to kick higher, you need to do dynamic stretches mate.

How do you manage having a lot of muscle and not gassing out? as I put more muscle on I find myself gassing out. I know that you’re not a huge fan of running for cardio.

Maybe try circuits will 30 sec rest. Usually with bodybuilding workouts you take a min or longer rest which probably doesn't improve your cardio

More muscle means your body needs more oxygen, no way to work around that. You just need to be more efficent and find a good ratio between endurance and strenght.

There is a difference between mass induced by proper strength training and mass induced by bodybuilding style training: one creates more muscle fibers, the other one fills the muscle cells with liquid (sarcoplasm). So step 1: don't do bodybuilding splits Step 2: do a lot of cardio work, either by running/swimming/rowing or with sport specific training, so you get more mythocondria in your cells and become more efficient at consuming oxygen. Step 3: adjust to your new weight and mass for a couple of months, so don't go for hypertrophy when you are close to competition. There is a trade off between size and cardio, but it's not as bad as people say: there are heavyweights that don't gas out (Cain Velasquez, Stipe Miocic, Fedor) and there are lighter weight fighters that have no gas tank (Conor McGregor)

@@IrvinLep Yeah well said. At some point in my judo carreer I did a lot more weightlifting than before. In general this made me feel better like I was better, especially on the ground, because I could brute force myself out of some tricky situations. This did burn noticable more energy than when I was more reliant on technique to get out of tricky situations. The lesson I took from this was that I should not become reliant on power, but it can be a very handy tool. Just try to learn to control your power output.
