I'm an "average" athlete but I wonder If I could become "better than average" if I had a pain cave like this. Looks like my idea of heaven!
@joshhead93682 жыл бұрын
You can. But if you want it bad enough you can become better than average without the pain cave too. But don't listen to me cause I'm still kind of fat lol

That was really awesome. I love that you are a couple and getting to live out your dreams together. My favorite part of the pain cave was actually all the weight machines. I'm a cyclist and I don't currently use weights but seeing all of that equipment was inspiring. It's also cool how you both lift weights so much but aren't all bulked up. Great content! Thank you for sharing!

I really like that you're a tri athlete but still lift weights. I'm happy to see that people understand the positives from it. Used to be that if you were an endurance athlete, weights werent even thought about.

Ahh, such good memories of the pulse fitness days! Used to get the fear coming over to yours and then leave on such a high - especially after a boxing set in the ring! Lovely to see David, and I think a glimpse of Laurie installing the lightning? Amazing and inspiring to see how far you've come, love following your journey 💚

Hi Lucy, Reece I have just come across your channel and I love it (I'm Jealous) I'm going to start to build my own small gym complex. I have always been involved with sport. But live got in the way for many years. I have always wanted to do a triathlon the only reason that I haven't was because the swimming would let me down. One Day. Thanks

Really nice ideal pain cave. May I know what’s the size of your pain cave? Ideal size for an endless pool? Did you build the endless pool outside first and then built walls, roof around it? You mentioned Reese dug up the pool, is the pool a bit below the floor line? Much like to know how you hung your bikes and how are they easily hung and removed for use? I’m little by little acquiring equipment and hope to eventually complete my pain cave. Because of Covid all gyms, pools, even beaches are closed in my city. More power to you and success. Thanks for the inspiration. Sgd. APM. APM.

The only reason that I haven’t bought the Saris trainer platform is due to that per their website, it’s not compatible with a kickr climb. I saw that you may have set it up anyway. I would like to humbly ask your feedback on it. Does it work perfectly? How do you strap it? Would you recommend it? I have a wahoo smart trainer, the same both you guys have. Good luck to both of you. Love the videos!

You set the current to a specific speed. As long as your keeping up you basically do it off of time. You have to do some planning pre-work out if you go by swimming distance and not time but it's all east enough to figure out. But if you wanted to do a set distance at specific speeds you'd just figure it out then do it based on time. (I.e. for a 3km swim if swimming at 1:30/100m you'd set the speed at 1:30 and just swim for 45 mins)
