Interesting podcasts. I was on probation for 3 years 2011 to 2014. My probation was easy than I thought. I reported to my probation officer 2 times in 3 years. My probation officer never came to my home. I was instructed to report online every month. My probation officer told me he was focusing more on violent offenders. And he said he didn't expect no problems from me. And my probation was federal probation. I think I did two or three drug tests in 3 years and my case was drug related.

I live in FL and i have had my medical Marijuana card for over a year before i got on probation. I told my probation officer on my first visit that i have my card. He said 'OKAY' That's it. My requirements say no U.A. Which i understand they still can test me. Since it's not federally Legal will i get in trouble?? You said i have to complete my community service every month before visit. My PO never stated that to me. He just told me on the first visit; My requirements have to be completed before the end of my probation. I'm Stressing out now!!! I do not want to mess up... FML

Yep. If you mess up and your PO asks you about it, it's always in your best interest to tell the truth because they either already know about it or will soon find out about it anyway.

What if my probation officer and the treatment program associated is taking advantage of my self esteem and making me say things that aren't true? Can I get in trouble for those things? They tell me not to talk to my mom and make me feel bad whenever I tell my side of the story; telling me that it's not how it happened and they will violate me if I don't say what they want me to. I'm scared. I've been over compliant for 2 and 1/2 years. I have 5 months left and don't know what to do.

I can help you. DM me on Instagram, or schedule a free consultation here: ProbationConsulting.as.me/
@JS-hg4vj3 жыл бұрын
Yes, because in your Judgement order from Courts most likely it would state you most "take responsibility" for your actions, even if you don't believe its true. I would do whatever the treatment providers wants to avoid being terminated unsuccessfully from treatment which will cause a probation violation.

I am an elected official convicted of cyberstalking which has a 17% conviction rate because of first amendment issues. I’m an extremely hated person in my county because of things I say. An elected judged ignored my 1st amendment rights. I even think my 6th amendment rights were violated twice. How can I trust my probation officer not to set me up to fail? He could be one of the people that hates me politically. Is there a way to do jail time instead of probation? I could be called a liar for saying that I disagree with the judge’s decision. I could be called a liar for anything I say. Supposedly I have a 15 day suspended sentence. I don’t know what that means but it sounds like I can do 15 days in jail instead of 1 year on probation. I hate being called a liar. It’s easy to call someone a liar. People do it every day with minimal effort. I have a feeling my probation officer can do it too. I haven’t met with him yet but I already don’t trust him at all. The magistrate didn’t protect me. The DA didn’t protect me. The judge didn’t protect me. I’m pretty sure I’m screwed but going to jail for 15 days would allow me to leave the state when my jail time is over. This place is corrupt. I’m 43 years old and never even been charged with a crime until I became an elected official. I want to go to jail because otherwise I know I’ll be abused because of my harsh political views. How can I get my probation officer to take me seriously when I tell him I prefer the jail sentence?

My 18 year old son didn’t tell his PO about his drug use prior to being on probation. He was a heavy marijuana user for about 1 and half. He has completely stopped when he started his probation for street racing. It has now been 56 days clean and he took a at home test and it’s positive! His PO needs him to take a test today. He doesn’t know what he should do? He never admitted to doing marijuana because he thought he would be in trouble.
@YourFavoritePO4 жыл бұрын
He should tell the PO the situation, so he doesn't waste time and money on the test. It will be a violation, but honesty will lessen the consequences.
@jeanettecordoway3684 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for responding. His paper work says to submit a drug test 90 Days after being granted community supervision. He was hoping to make the 90 days. It’s a few days shy of 60. Also do you know if he can be charge for admitting to marijuana use?
@jeanettecordoway3684 жыл бұрын
Use of marijuana before being on probation?
@YourFavoritePO4 жыл бұрын
No they won't charge him for admitting use. He has to be clear in the last time he used. He also has to stay away from others who use because that's also a violation. The first failed drug test usually has minimal punishment.
@JS-hg4vj3 жыл бұрын
No offense, marijuana only stays in blood stream for up to 72 hours if you're a heavy smoker, you're saying 56 days he been clean. Yeah he been smoking behind your back, thinking the paperwork would protect him, P.O can drug test you any time, they can even come to your house or work and get a sample. Best thing he can do is be honest, if he knows he going fail, some times some PO will let him slide if he admits he dirty.

I don't like my P.O.'s snarky ass tone. I'm involved in veterans treatment court for a DUI. I'm being treated like a freaking 2nd class citizen. A criminal. I put in work for this country in Afghanistan. She is not helpful at all. Everything is difficult as possible. I'm doing everything I'm supposed to do.

Hello! Your channel has been a god send, being in trouble for the first time ever... also means this is my first (and last) time on probation. It’s been nice to see this side of things. I know to take everything with a grain of salt but I just was wondering if maybe you could give me an idea of what may happen with my situation. So I am required to pay a DOC fee for probation, I was late and had to pay two months worth this time around, making me 100% current on all my fees. Is this a violation of my probation? Other than this missed payment I’ve never missed a meeting, I’ve passed all my UA’s. Essentially I have been the model client, in fact the last time I was in she told me she isn’t worried about me. BUT I am worried and my next meeting is this Wednesday. Also, is there any way to check my status before then? Being so new to this I’m just always so paranoid because jail SUCKS and I’m so close to being done with this, plus I’m on SIS probation so the charges basically go away upon completion. Thank you
@YourFavoritePO4 жыл бұрын
So happy to hear you were able to gain something from my videos. If you caught up on your payments and are now current, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Missing a payment is technically a violation, but if you catch up the following month, the court will NOT use that against you. Stay current with the fees, and remember NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL! 😁. Best of luck and let me know if you have anymore questions!

Can your probation officer look through your phone
@YourFavoritePO4 жыл бұрын
In some instances, yes they can. However, you don't HAVE to let them see your phone unless your court paperwork states otherwise.
@_Manifest_Destiny_2 жыл бұрын
Some of your information is incorrect I am currently on probation in California and I'm allowed to smoke marijuana. When I went to court I got the judge to agree to allow me to smoke cannabis for my PTSD from when I was in Iraq. So please correct yourself and the information that you are putting out into the world because it is partially incorrect. Thank you.

Yes, thanks for adding that. Laws and policies change so frequently, and different states do different things. I'll add that disclaimer in the description box. 😁 *best of luck with the rest of your supervision!

This place is so damn sick smh in one state it’s legal in another it’s illegal that’s how you know it’s not a country but a business . At one time it was legal to beat and or kill your slave smh I don’t know bout you but I’m completely over Amerikkka. They make these laws to control and profit it’s not about making life better for all. Check it so with all the accidents and killings that have involved alcohol you would think they would banned it hell it does no good for no one shoot they banned margarine in most countries you can’t buy it smh but you know why they don’t because they profit of the laws they impose on the people. The insurance companies are scammers and work with the law enforcement smh this place is terrible all around corruption. If we don’t stand up for our rights pretty soon we won’t have any!

@@YourFavoritePO Kiosk Reporting (KRS) The Kiosk Reporting System (KRS) allows low risk defendants to report via kiosk rather than having to see a probation officer face·to·face. This allows for monitoring of behavior while freeing probation officers to concentrate their time on higher risk probationers. Those are Google's words. The kiosk machines are in the Probation office though. They kiosk machine does a scan of your hand. Then asks the same 5 questions, where u reside, employment, any new charges, need to talk with a PO? 5 minute process. This was my 2nd Felony case. Sales of heroin. I literally did 5 years of felony probation in Brooklyn NY and never had a drug screen or saw a probation officer. Luckily I had changed my life around immediately after this case. I started dating a strong black women with NO drug abuse history and she holds me accountable. So shout out to all you strong women out there.

I think you and every other AUTHORITY figure that has the authority to make the call that results in a human being getting forcibly taken from his/her family and thrown in a cage, and beaten if necessary to "persuade" them into said cage, should have to perform a voluntary 6 month stay in the county jail that they will be sentencing people to during their tenure at that position respectively. I would imagine that you don't agree with this, I wouldn't blame you. but if it were mandated by your region or municipality, would you do it? or would you seek a different profession?
@YourFavoritePO2 жыл бұрын
